Last Push for Immigration
We're slated to leave at the end of November, and for everything we've managed to save, it's all going to travel expenses. We need help putting a down payment on somewhere to stay!
$455 / $3000
Kofi ⢠Commissions ⢠$ruckusthekid
I'm more than happy to work for it, and any help is appreciated. We're applying for asylum (where might be changing, Portugal resources are getting really slim), & our goal is to help other trans kids out of the country once we've figured out the process.
Thank you so so much for the support we've already received, and I'm honestly really excited to show y'all how it all goes down.
See ya soon!
More information about us, if you want it:
As a trans couple, my husband and I are really feeling the pressure to get out of the United States. We thought we could skim by where we are until we could leave, but he's been goaded by local police as they humiliated and condescended him in a back room for being trans, and I had my ID confiscated for saying male, and upon trying to get it reissued as female, I was kept after hours in the state trooper's office and surrounded by all residing cops left in the station as it was processed. We don't feel safe, if you can believe it.
We've flown by the seat of our pants a lot. We've been kicked out, homeless, manipulated and hurt by a lot of fucking people over the last five years, and we've always managed to make it work. I assume the same can be said for this; even if we don't get the money we need before we leave, we'll figure something out when we get there.
It's not ideal, having to do things like this, but we're in the middle of nowhere, in a food desert, and I have a highly restrictive diet that's really difficult to afford as it is. We've been trying to save for over a year now and only scraped up $2k with help. It's on par, if not over $1k each for us to fly, with our baggage & cats.
I'm doing my fuckin best and I'm willing to work for anything we make here, I'm just floundering to support us and get this together too with how absolutely shithole rancid the economy is.
No one owes us anything, there's no pressure to donate or commission me, but it would be an enormous pressure off of us to get this put together before we leave. Please.
#be mindful of what you tag this tumblr likes to kill dono posts#its so. embarrassing to have to do this but were disabled what else can we do#wait until the fake fictional fantasy time period where we suddenly have all of the money spoons and resources to move abroad?#i want to get a job as soon as were there and acclimated like im willing to do it but theres nowhere to work where we are right now#were in the middle of nowhere and everyone is already broke and trying to find work

Wisdom And Death - N.R
P: DemiGod!Ni-ki X Fem!Reader
Warnings: Teasing, Sword fighting, Tension, Obsessive Behaviour (no literally), Jealousy if you squint, Park Wonbin Cameo.
Synopsis: Youâve just discovered you're the daughter of Athena, goddess of wisdom, and now youâre at Camp Half-Blood. You struggle to surviveâbut now Ni-ki, son of Hades seems to have taken an interest in you.
a/n: already done harry potter, why not try out percy jackson as well? i dont expect this to do good tbh..
--
You were a daughter of Athena, goddess of wisdom and strategy. It was a truth you had only recently learned, and not in the way you might have expected. Your fatherâdistant, aloof, and perpetually overworkedâhad dropped the bombshell on you like it was just another item on his to-do list. For years, he had told you that your mother had died in childbirth, a tragic story youâd grown up swallowing whole. But then, out of nowhere, he decided it was time you knew the truth.
At first, you didnât believe him. Who would? The idea of being the child of a literal goddess sounded absurd, like something out of one of those cheesy fantasy movies you used to watch. But your dad wouldnât let you argue. He brushed off your questions with the same detached efficiency he used for everything else and, before you knew it, you were being shoved into the backseat of a car with a suitcase in one hand and a head full of unanswered questions.
Thatâs how you ended up here: a camp in the middle of the woods with a wooden sign swinging gently in the breeze. You tilted your head to read it, the letters etched deep into the grain: Camp Half-Blood.
"Right," you muttered to yourself. "Because Camp Mythological Heritage wouldâve been too on the nose."
Still, there was no turning back now. With a shrug, you stepped past the entrance and into a world that felt like something out of a fever dream. Kids your ageâand youngerâwere scattered across the campgrounds, each of them doing something more insane than the last. One kid was scaling a rock wall that was on fire, while another sparred with a partner using what looked like actual swords. Over by the lake, a group of campers were... were those horses? No, centaurs. Actual centaurs.
You stood frozen, your mouth slightly ajar. It was like stepping into a fantasy novel. Or a madhouse. You hadnât decided which one yet.
âWell,â you muttered to yourself, âthis is either going to be the best thing that ever happened to me... or the absolute worst.â
You made your way toward the center of the camp, still trying to process the sheer chaos unfolding around you. Everyone seemed so... at home here. But you, well, you felt like an outsider. Your entire life had been one thing, and now it was completely turned upside down. As you walked, you tried to ignore the tiny pit of unease growing in your stomach. This wasnât what you had imagined. Then again, you hadnât imagined much of anything.
Before you could spiral too much, a voice broke through your thoughts. "You must be the daughter of Athena," it said, smooth and calm, yet somehow with a touch of familiarity, as if it had known you your whole life.
You blinked up at the speaker, startled. Standing before you was a centaurâhalf man, half horseâhis chest broad and dignified, and his eyes sharp, like he could see right through you. He was somehow... kind. A strange contrast to the world you had just walked into.
âWelcome,â he continued, extending a hand that you shook uncertainly. âIâm Chiron. I know this must be overwhelming, but weâre here to help.â
You raised an eyebrow. "Chiron? Like, the Chiron from Greek mythology?"
"That would be me," he said with a small chuckle. "But Iâve been around for a long time, you'll find the name a bit more casual in a place like this."
You blinked again, not sure how to react. This wasnât the kind of welcome you had expected, but then again, nothing about this situation was what youâd imagined.
As Chiron began to explain the camp, his words flowed with an ease that made everything sound... normal. Like discovering you were the child of a goddess wasnât as monumental as it seemed. He explained the demigod life with a sense of nonchalance, detailing the training youâd undergo. Everything had a rhythm to it, like a battle plan carefully constructed and laid out.
"Your mother, Athena," he said, his gaze softening for a moment, "she's one of the most revered of the Olympian gods. Intelligence, strategy, wisdomâthey all run through her blood, and now, through yours."
You had to hold back a sigh. Youâd heard about your motherâs legacy, but it felt distant, like a story told to you by someone who didnât quite know the ending. Chiron, however, spoke like it was the most natural thing in the world.
"And here," he gestured grandly, "is where youâll be staying."
You followed his gaze to a modest cabin that seemed to exude an aura of quiet authority. It was simple, yet elegant in its design, with the unmistakable feeling that it had been built for both function and beauty.
âThis is the Athena cabin,â Chiron said, his voice low, respectful. âItâs where the children of Athena reside. Youâll find it to be a place of study, of strategy. And youâll find that, like your mother, you will be expected to think and lead carefully.â
You stood before it, still unsure of how you were supposed to feel. "Iâm supposed to live here now?" you asked, voice almost too small to be your own.
"Yes," Chiron replied, his smile gentle. âAnd while it may take some time to get used to, you'll find that the family you never knew you had is here. The other daughters of Athena will become your sistersâyour allies in this world.â
You nodded, though you couldnât help the doubts swirling in your mind. Could you really belong here? Could you live up to this legacy, to the expectations of a goddess you barely knew?
âCome,â Chiron said, turning toward the cabin. âLetâs get you settled in. And donât worry, weâve all been through this transition. You're not alone.â
The inside of the Athena cabin was everything you expected and more. Rows of bookshelves lined the walls, crammed with texts on strategy, philosophy, mythology, and other subjects you couldnât even begin to comprehend. The air smelled faintly of parchment and ink, with a touch of something herbalâmaybe mint or rosemary. There were maps and blueprints pinned to corkboards, some of them marked with notes in handwriting so precise it could have been printed. A large table dominated the center of the room, strewn with scrolls, chessboards, and what looked like the half-finished plans for a miniature catapult.
Several campers were scattered around the room, their heads bent in concentration. Some were reading, others sketching battle tactics, and a few were locked in intense chess matches. They didnât look up as you entered, but you could feel their awareness. It was as if they had already sized you up without even glancing your way.
âThis is your home now,â Chiron said, his voice low as he gestured around the room. âThe children of Athena value intellect, strategy, and wisdom. Youâll find that everyone here has their own strengths, and soon, youâll discover yours as well.â
You nodded, unsure of what to say. The room was intimidating in a way you couldnât quite put into words. It wasnât the weapons or the books or even the aura of focusâit was the expectation. The unspoken weight that came with being Athenaâs child.
One of the campers finally looked up, a girl with sharp features and dark hair pulled into a braid. She stood, crossing her arms as she approached. âNew kid?â she asked, her tone more curious than unkind. Her eyes seemed to assess you in an instant.
âYes,â Chiron answered before you could. âThis is Athenaâs newest appointed daughter.â
The girlâs expression shifted slightly, softening just enough to put you at ease. She extended a hand. âIâm Sophia. Welcome to the Athena cabin.â
You shook her hand, her grip firm but not overwhelming. âUh, thanks. Iâmââ
âDonât worry,â Sophia interrupted, a small smirk tugging at her lips. âWeâll learn your name soon enough. For now, letâs just focus on getting you settled in.â She turned back to Chiron. âWeâll take it from here.â
Chiron nodded, his expression approving. âGood. Iâll leave you to it, then.â He placed a hand on your shoulder briefly, his presence steadying. âYouâre in good hands here. Iâll check in with you later.â
And with that, he left, his hooves clopping softly against the wooden floor as he disappeared out the door.
Sophia turned back to you, her smirk widening. âWell, newbie, letâs get this over with. Youâll be bunking over here.â She led you to a bed near the back of the cabin, neatly made with gray blankets and pillows. A small wooden trunk sat at the foot of it, clearly meant for your belongings. âItâs not much, but youâll get used to it.â
You set your bag down, glancing around at the other bunks. Everything was organized, almost militaristically so. No stray clothes, no clutterâjust a quiet efficiency that made your own messy habits feel glaringly obvious.
Sophia must have noticed your hesitation because she raised an eyebrow. âDonât worry. We donât bite. Much.â She tilted her head toward the other campers. âMost of us are too busy with our projects to bother anyone. Just donât touch anyoneâs stuff without asking, and youâll be fine.â
You nodded, sitting on the edge of your bed. âSo⌠what now?â
âNow,â Sophia said, crossing her arms again, âyou try to survive. Training starts tomorrow morning, bright and early. Hope youâre ready to learn how to wield a weapon, because monsters wonât care how good you are at chess.â
Your stomach flipped at the mention of monsters, but you tried not to let it show. âGreat,â you muttered. âSounds fun.â
Sophia chuckled, shaking her head. âDonât worry, newbie. Weâve all been where you are. Youâll find your place soon enough.â
With that, she walked off, leaving you alone to process everything. You lay back on the bed, staring up at the wooden ceiling. The sounds of the camp filtered in through the open windowsâlaughter, the clang of swords, the steady rhythm of feet pounding the ground.
You exhaled slowly, trying to let the noises outside soothe the storm of thoughts swirling in your mind. It didnât work. How could it, when the weight of everything that had happened in the past few days pressed down on you like a lead blanket? You were the daughter of a goddess. A literal goddess. How were you supposed to live up to that? You didnât feel particularly wise or strategic. You felt... normal. Average. Like a fish suddenly thrown into a sea of sharks.
A knock on the doorframe startled you out of your thoughts. You sat up quickly, your heart skipping a beat as you looked toward the entrance. A boy stood there, leaning casually against the frame with his arms crossed. His sandy blonde hair was messy, like heâd just come from sparring, and there was a faint smear of dirt on his cheek. He looked about your age, maybe a little older, with an easy confidence that made you feel even more out of place.
âHey,â he said, his voice light but curious. âYouâre the new Athena kid, huh?â
You nodded slowly, unsure of how to respond. âUh, yeah. Thatâs me.â
He grinned, pushing off the doorframe and stepping inside. âFigures. Youâve got that look about you.â
You frowned, tilting your head. âWhat look?â
âYou know,â he said, gesturing vaguely, âall serious and... thinking about ten things at once. Classic Athena kid behavior.â
You werenât sure if that was a compliment or not. âAnd you are?â
âJake,â he said, sticking out a hand. âSon of Apollo.â
You hesitated for half a second before shaking his hand. His grip was firm but friendly, and his smile was disarming. âNice to meet you, I guess.â
âGuess?â he repeated with a mock pout. âWow, tough crowd.â
You couldnât help but smile a little, despite yourself. There was something about him that put you at ease, even if his confidence was a little overwhelming.
âSo,â he said, glancing around the cabin before turning back to you, âhowâs your first day going? Overwhelmed yet?â
âMore like completely lost,â you admitted. âI donât even know where to start.â
Jake nodded knowingly. âYeah, thatâs pretty normal. Everyone feels like that at first. But donât worry, youâll get the hang of it. Just... try not to overthink everything. I know itâs, like, in your DNA or whatever, but trust me, this place is way easier to deal with if you just roll with the punches.â
âRight,â you said, not entirely convinced. âEasy for you to say. Youâve probably been here forever.â
âThree years,â he said, shrugging. âBut it feels like forever sometimes. Youâll get used to it, though. And if you ever need someone to show you the ropes, Iâm your guy.â
Before you could respond, there was a loud clang from outside, followed by a chorus of cheers. Jake glanced toward the window, his grin widening.
âLooks like the sparring matches are heating up,â he said. âYou should come watch. Itâs a good way to see what youâre up against.â
You hesitated, glancing back at your bed. Part of you wanted to stay there, to retreat into yourself and avoid the chaos outside for just a little longer. But another part of youâsmaller, quieter, but undeniably thereâwanted to see what this world was really about.
âAlright,â you said finally, standing up. âLead the way.â
Jakeâs grin grew wider, and he gestured for you to follow him. âThatâs the spirit. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood, newbie. Time to see what youâre made of.â
You stepped out of the cabin, squinting against the sunlight as Jake led the way toward an open training area. The sounds of sparring filled the airâthe clash of metal against metal, the thud of bodies hitting the ground, and the occasional shout of victory.
The training ground was a wide, dusty circle surrounded by spectators, most of them campers who were either waiting their turn or simply enjoying the show. In the middle, pairs of campers were locked in combat. Some used swords and shields, while some fought barehanded, relying on strength, agility, and strategy to try and knock each other down.
âPretty cool, huh?â Jake said, glancing over his shoulder at you.
You nodded, your eyes wide as you took in the scene. âYeah. Intense, though.â
Jake chuckled. âYou get used to it. Letâs introduce you to some of the gang. Youâre going to be seeing a lot of these faces, so might as well start remembering names.â
He led you over to a group of campers who were sitting on a bench, watching the matches with keen interest. They turned as you approached, their expressions ranging from curious to welcoming.
âThis is Soobin,â Jake said, gesturing to a tall boy with jet-black hair and kind eyes. He offered you a small smile, his voice calm as he spoke. âSon of Apollo.â
You nodded, trying to commit his name and face to memory. âNice to meet you, Soobin.â
Next, Jake pointed to a girl with short, choppy hair dyed a silvery gray. Her arms were crossed, and she had a confident smirk that told you she didnât take herself too seriously. âThis is Chaewon, daughter of Ares. Sheâs one of the best fighters here, so donât get on her bad side.â
Chaewon snorted. âIâm not that scary.â She winked at you. âUnless youâre dumb enough to challenge me, of course.â
You laughed nervously, making a mental note to stay far away from her during sparring sessions.
Jake moved on to a pair of twins who were practically radiating energy. They had identical bright smiles and matching dimples. âThese two are Jiwoo and Jiyeon, daughters of Hermes. If anything goes missing, itâs probably their fault.â
âHey!â Jiyeon protested, though her grin didnât waver. âWeâve been so well-behaved lately.â
âRelatively,â Jiwoo added with a wink.
You couldnât help but smile at their playful energy. âGot it. Keep my stuff locked up.â
âSmart girl,â Jiwoo said approvingly.
Jake led you around the rest of the training ground, introducing you to more campers.
There was Minho, son of Hephaestus, a quiet boy with soot-streaked hands and a shy smile who loved to tinker with weapons and gadgets. âIf you need a custom weapon or armor, come find me,â he said softly.
Then there was Yeji, daughter of Demeter, who was tending to a small garden on the outskirts of the training area. She wiped her hands on her jeans and smiled warmly. âIf camp food gets boring, I can help you find the best fruits and veggies around.â
And finally, Jake introduced you to Seungmin, son of Dionysus, who was leaning against a tree with his arms crossed. âGood luck surviving your first week.â
âUh, thanks?â you said, not entirely sure if that was encouragement or a warning.
By the time Jake finished the introductions, your head was spinning with names, faces, and parentage. You did your best to commit them all to memory, but you had a feeling it was going to take a while before you got them all straight.
Jake clapped you on the shoulder, grinning. âNot so bad, right? Everyoneâs pretty chill once you get to know them.â
âSure,â you said, though you still felt a little overwhelmed. âBut itâs a lot to take in.â
âTrust me, youâll be fine,â Jake said confidently. He nodded toward the sparring ring. âNow, want to watch a match or two? Or are you feeling brave enough to give it a try yourself?â
You glanced at the campers sparring in the ring, their movements fast and fierce. Part of you wanted to jump in, to prove to yourself that you could handle this new life. But another part wasnât quite ready.
âI think Iâll stick to watching for now,â you said with a small laugh.
Jake nodded, his grin never fading. âFair enough. Letâs find a good spot, then. Youâre going to want to pay attentionâthereâs a lot you can learn just from watching.â
Jake led you to a shaded spot under a tree with a perfect view of the sparring ring. He plopped down on the ground, motioning for you to do the same. You settled in beside him, your eyes fixed on the action.
"See that?" Jake nudged you, pointing at one of the fighters. "Thatâs Hyunjin, son of Aphrodite."
You nodded, watching as Hyunjin disarmed his opponent with a flourish that looked almost effortless.
The match ended with a loud cheer, and you were about to ask Jake a question when the atmosphere in the training ground shifted as someone new stepped into the ring.
He was tallâeasily the tallest person youâd seen so farâand carried himself with a quiet confidence that was somehow more intimidating than if heâd been loud and boastful. His dark hair fell just over his sharp eyes, and in his hand, he twirled a sword with the kind of ease that made it look like an extension of his arm.
âWhoâs that?â you leaned over and whispered to Jake, unable to tear your eyes away from the newcomer.
Jake followed your gaze and chuckled softly. âThatâs Ni-ki,â he said. âSon of Hades. Donât feel bad if he gives you the chillsâhe does that to everyone.â
You didnât respond. You were too focused on Ni-ki as he stepped into the center of the ring, his gaze cool and unbothered as he sized up his opponent. The person across from him was someone you didnât recognizeâa stocky boy who looked strong but not nearly as composed.
The match began, and from the very first move, it was clear that Ni-ki was on a completely different level. He didnât just fightâhe dominated. His movements were precise, calculated, almost lazy in their efficiency. Every swing of his sword, every step he took, was purposeful. It was like he was playing a game of chess, except the pieces were his opponentâs mistakes, and he was three moves ahead the entire time.
You found yourself holding your breath as you watched. The other boy lunged, swinging his weapon with all his might, but Ni-ki sidestepped effortlessly, his expression bored. With a flick of his wrist, he disarmed the boy, sending his weapon skidding across the ground.
The fight ended in seconds. Ni-ki didnât gloat, didnât smileâhe simply turned and walked away, his sword resting on his shoulder as if it weighed nothing.
The crowd erupted into cheers and murmurs, but you were still frozen in place, your eyes following Ni-ki as he disappeared toward the edge of the training area.
âYou okay?â Jake asked, nudging you lightly.
âYeah,â you said quickly, though your voice felt distant even to your own ears.
Jake smirked knowingly. âYeah, he has that effect on people. Donât let him intimidate you too much, though. Heâs not as scary as he looks.â
You glanced at Jake, raising an eyebrow. âReally?â
âOkay, maybe he is,â Jake admitted with a laugh. âBut heâs not all bad. Heâs just... intense.â
Intense. That felt like an understatement. You looked back toward where Ni-ki had gone, half expecting him to be watching from the shadows. But he was gone, leaving you with a strange, lingering curiosity that you couldnât quite shake.
As the sparring matches wound down, you decided to take the chance to explore more of the camp. There was so much to take inâthe cabins, the armory, the various training areasâit all felt like a strange blend of summer camp and battlefield.
You were just passing by the archery range when something zipped by your head, close enough that you felt the breeze as it passed. You yelped, instinctively ducking as the arrow thudded into a target a few feet away.
âOh my gods, Iâm so sorry!â a voice called out.
You turned toward the source of the voice, your heart still racing, and froze. The guy jogging toward you was... well, there was no other way to put it: stunning. He had soft, wavy hair that caught the sunlight just right, warm brown eyes, and a jawline that looked like it had been carved by one of the gods themselves. Was everyone here this ridiculously attractive?
âUh, itâs okay,â you managed to say, brushing off the shock. âI dodged in time.â
He let out a huff of relief, running a hand through his hair. âPhew. For a second there, I thought Iâd actually hit you. That wouldâve been one heck of a first impression.â
You laughed nervously, trying not to stare too hard. âYeah, not exactly the warmest welcome, but Iâll survive.â
He grinned, his confidence shining through. âStill, almost hitting the newbie? Thatâs got to be a new low for me.â He extended a hand toward you. âIâm Wonbin, son of Aphrodite. And before you say anything, yes, Iâm that good-looking because of my mom. Comes with the territory.â
You couldnât help but smile at his candor as you shook his hand. âIâm Y/N. Daughter of Athena.â
âAh, an Athena kid,â he said, his grin turning into a smirk. âFigures. Youâve got that sharp, calculating look in your eyes. Kind of intimidating, actually.â
You raised an eyebrow, crossing your arms. âIntimidating? Me? Youâre the one firing arrows at innocent bystanders.â
Wonbin laughed, the sound light and easy. âFair point. Iâll owe you one for thatâfree archery lessons, maybe? You know, to keep you from dodging arrows next time.â
You rolled your eyes, but the offer didnât sound half-bad. âIâll think about it.â
âDo that,â he said with a wink. âAnyway, I should probably get back to practice before Chiron yells at me again. See you around, newbie.â
As he walked back toward the range, you couldnât help but shake your head with a smile. If nothing else, Camp Half-Blood was full of... colorful personalities.
--
Your aimless wandering had brought you to the edge of the camp, where the cabins grew more spaced out and quiet. One cabin in particular caught your attentionâit was darker than the others, its aura foreboding and unnervingly still. The door was closed, and the windows were tinted, making it impossible to see inside. You tilted your head, curiosity tugging at you as you wondered which camper called this place home.
âYouâre pretty far from your cabin.â
The sudden voice made you jump, and you whipped around quickly, heart thudding in your chest.
Oh.
It was Ni-ki.
He stood there like a shadow given form, his dark eyes glinting in the dim light. His expression was unreadable, and he seemed even taller up closeâtowering over you with an intensity that made you instinctively take a step back.
âWhat are you doing out here?â he asked, his voice low and even, though there was a hint of something in his toneâamusement, maybe? Or just curiosity?
You cleared your throat, hoping he didnât notice how startled you were. âI, uh⌠I was just exploring. Didnât mean to wander this far.â
Ni-kiâs gaze flicked to the dark cabin behind you, and for a moment, his expression softenedâjust barely. âThis isnât exactly the friendliest part of camp,â he said. âEspecially for someone new.â
You glanced back at the cabin, suddenly feeling a little foolish for standing there. âWhose cabin is it?â
âItâs mine,â Ni-ki said simply.
Your eyes widened slightly as you looked back at him. âYours? Oh.â
He raised an eyebrow at your reaction, crossing his arms over his chest. âWhat, expecting a skull on the door or something?â
âNo,â you said quickly, then hesitated. âWell, maybe.â
Ni-ki huffed a quiet laugh, though it was more like a sharp exhale. âRelax. Itâs just a cabin, not the gates of the Underworld.â
You werenât entirely sure about that, given the eerie vibe the place gave off, but you decided not to push it. âRight. Sorry for⌠lurking.â
He studied you for a moment, his eyes narrowing slightly as if he were trying to figure you out. The silence stretched just long enough to feel uncomfortable before he finally spoke again.
âYouâre the new Athena kid, right?â
You nodded. âYeah. Howâd you know?â
âJake doesnât shut up,â he said bluntly, though there was the faintest twitch of a smile at the corner of his mouth.
You let out a nervous laugh, unsure of how to respond. Ni-ki didnât seem like the kind of person you could easily readâor impress, for that matter.
âWell,â he said, shifting his weight slightly, âif youâre done wandering, you should probably head back to your cabin. This side of camp isnât exactly the best place to hang out.â
âWhy?â you asked before you could stop yourself.
Ni-kiâs expression darkened, and for a split second, you thought he wasnât going to answer. But then he stepped closerâjust enough to make you aware of how much taller he wasâand said quietly, âLetâs just say not everything here is as safe as it looks.â
A chill ran down your spine at his words, and you swallowed hard, nodding. âGot it. Heading back now.â
Ni-ki stepped aside, gesturing for you to go. As you walked past him, you couldnât help but glance back over your shoulder. He was still standing there, watching you with an unreadable expression, the dark cabin looming behind him like a shadow.
Something about him lingered in your mind as you made your way back to your own cabin.
When you pushed open the door to the Athena cabin and paused. Inside, the girls were gathered in a tight circle on the floor, their heads close together, whispering and giggling in a way that seemed almost conspiratorial. Books, notebooks, and even a small chalkboard sat in the middle of the ring, covered in scrawled notes and diagrams.
The moment you stepped in, all eyes turned to you. You froze under their collective gaze, unsure of whether youâd just walked into something secret or sacred.
âWhat are you doing?â you asked hesitantly, glancing between them.
Sophia, the girl whoâd first greeted you when you arrived, smiled and gestured for you to sit beside her. âCome join us. Weâre just quizzing each otherâitâs kind of a thing we do regularly.â
You hesitated for a moment before shrugging and stepping forward. Sophia shifted to make space for you, and as you sat down, you noticed the mix of curiosity and warmth in the girlsâ faces.
âWeâll start a new round for you,â said Haewon, her voice steady but kind. She had a book open in her lap, the pages filled with notes in tiny, precise handwriting. âDo you want to give it a try?â
âSure,â you said, unsure of what exactly you were getting yourself into but willing to play along.
Ryujin grinned, leaning back on her hands. âAlright, letâs see if the new girl can keep up.â
Yunjin nudged her with a playful glare. âBe nice.â
The first question came from Soyeon, who looked at you with sharp, calculating eyes. âWho was the mother of Perseus?â
Your brain scrambled for the answer, and you barely managed to get it out. âDanaĂŤ.â
Soyeon nodded, a small smile tugging at her lips. âGood. Next.â
The questions came rapid-fire after that, bouncing between Greek mythology, mathematical equations, Roman history, and even abstract, theoretical problems.
âWhatâs the square root of 729?â
â27.â
âWho was the first Roman emperor?â
âAugustus.â
âIf a tree falls in the forest and no oneâs around to hear it, does it make a sound?â
ââŚUh, depends on your definition of âsound.ââ
The girls laughed at that one, even Leeseo, who had been scribbling furiously in a notebook the entire time.
Every time you got an answer right, you felt a surge of pride, and when you got one wrong, the girls explained it without a hint of judgment.
Sophia leaned over at one point, nudging you with her shoulder. âYouâre doing better than I did my first time.â
âReally?â you asked, half-laughing as Haewon fired off another question about theoretical physics.
âReally,â Sophia said with a grin. âYouâll fit right in.â
You had proven it to yourself. You were one of them.
--
The morning light filtered through the trees, as you stood in the training area, still feeling the weight of the armor strapped to your body. It wasnât muchâlight armor, a sword, and a shieldâbut it was enough to make you feel like you were suddenly expected to be someone else, someone capable of defending themselves.
You awkwardly adjusted the straps, wondering just how much of a disaster your first training session would be. You didnât even know what to do with the sword yetâlet alone how to hold the shield properly.
Thatâs when you felt itâsomeoneâs gaze on you. You turned, and your eyes locked with a guy standing just a few paces away. You recognized him immediately. It was hard not toâhe was a son of Ares, and he looked the part. Broad-shouldered, with a sharp, aggressive expression, his dark eyes narrowed as he sized you up, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.
âAre you just going to stand there all day, or are you going to learn how to use that thing?â he called out, his tone sharp, almost challenging.
You straightened up, heart racing. âUh⌠Iâm not really sure what to doâŚâ
He snorted, clearly unimpressed. âYeah, I figured. Donât worry, kid. Youâre about to find out.â
Before you could react, he was on youâhis movements swift and brutal as he lunged forward, his sword aimed directly at your chest. You barely had time to raise your shield, the force of the blow almost knocking you off your feet.
Your heart pounded in your ears, and for a moment, you wondered if you should just give upâif maybe you werenât cut out for this. But then, a quiet voice in the back of your mind reminded you who your mother was. Athena. Goddess of wisdom and strategy. You werenât just any camper here. You had the blood of a warrior in you, even if it felt distant.
âFocus,â you whispered to yourself, trying to steady your breathing.
The son of Ares swung again, but this time you were ready. You sidestepped, your body moving almost instinctively as your shield blocked the next attack. You could feel the heat from his strikes, the raw power behind each one.
âNot bad,â he grunted, clearly surprised by your ability to dodge. âBut donât just blockâcounterattack!â
Counterattack. You barely had time to think before another strike came at you, but this time, your instincts took over. You shifted, raising your sword and parrying his strike. It wasnât perfect, but it was enough to push him off balance. You swung back, though he easily blocked it with his own shield.
This continued for a few more rounds, the fight becoming more of a dance between the two of you, until you found yourself growing more comfortable, your movements becoming sharper and more deliberate. The son of Ares didnât give you an inch, but you were beginning to see the patterns in his strikesâpredicting where his next attack would come from, even as your breath grew heavier.
You didnât win the sparring matchâhe was still faster, stronger, and more experiencedâbut by the time it ended, you felt greatful to be alive.
âNot bad for a newbie,â the son of Ares said, stepping back and giving you a nod of approval. âYouâve got some guts.â
You wiped the sweat from your brow, your heart still racing. âI... I didnât think I could do that.â
He gave you a look that was almost approving, though his face still carried that rough edge. âYouâre a daughter of Athena, right? You shouldâve known you had it in you.â
You nodded, though doubt still lingered in the back of your mind. Were you really your motherâs daughter? Sure, youâd dodged and blocked the attacks, but did that make you a true warrior?
The son of Ares turned and walked away, leaving you standing there, your sword in hand and your shield still raised, as the sounds of camp life continued around you.
Just as you were trying to catch your breath, still processing the son of Aresâ brutal training session, you heard a voiceâa familiar, mocking tone that sent a shiver down your spine.
âWell, well, looks like youâre still standing,â Ni-ki said, his voice smooth and teasing.
You looked up, and there he was. He was dressed in light armor like you, a sword and shield strapped to his side, his posture relaxed as he twirled his sword in his hand, almost as if he were showing off. The corner of his lips curled into a smirk as he locked eyes with you.
âWhat? Youâre gonna just stand there?â Ni-ki teased, his tone light but laced with challenge.
You opened your mouth to respond, but before you could even form a sentence, Ni-ki moved.
His sword came down fast and hard, the sharp clang of metal on metal ringing through the air as you barely managed to raise your shield in time to deflect the blow. Your heart raced, your hands still shaky from the last sparring session, and now here he wasâmoving with a confidence and skill that was hard to match.
âCome on, I thought Athenaâs kids were supposed to be smarter than this,â Ni-ki called out, his voice laced with amusement as he swung again. You had no choice but to dodge, the blade narrowly missing your side.
His attacks came rapid-fire, each one pushing you to the edge. It was like he was anticipating every move you made. You were barely keeping up, forced to sidestep and block with everything you had. He kept moving, his footwork impeccable as he darted around you, only giving you brief moments to catch your breath.
âCome on, youâre not still getting outclassed, are you?â Ni-ki called, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he swung again. You could feel the heat of the sword as it sliced through the air.
Frustration burned in your chest. You couldnât keep dodging forever.
Without hesitation, you swung your sword at him, a wild, almost desperate strike aimed at his torso.
Ni-ki parried the blow effortlessly, deflecting it with a flick of his wrist. Then, he stopped and actually clapped.
âWell, at least youâre trying now,â he said, his smirk widening.
You froze for a moment, bewildered by his nonchalant attitude. Before you could process, he vanished.
One second he was in front of you, and the nextâhe was behind you. You didnât even have time to react before you felt the lightest push to your back, and you were sent tumbling to the ground.
You gasped, staring up at Ni-ki as he stood over you. âWhat⌠what was that?â
Ni-ki simply raised an eyebrow, his gaze cool and almost bored. âThat? Oh, just a little trick I picked up from my dad.â
Your mind raced, trying to comprehend what had just happened. âA trick?â you asked, still on the ground, trying to push yourself up.
âYeah,â he said, his voice casual. âItâs an ability. Using shadows to teleport short distances, just like that.â
Your eyes widened in disbelief. Teleporting? From his father, Hades? It was the kind of power youâd only heard about in stories, something that seemed impossible to even imagine.
âRightâŚâ you muttered, still on the ground, looking up at him in a mix of awe and frustration.
Ni-ki simply shrugged, his expression unreadable. âNot bad, though. Youâll catch up eventually. If you donât want to end up on the floor every time.â
With that, he turned on his heel and walked off, leaving you sitting there in the dirt, your sword and shield at your side. You could feel the sting of both your physical exhaustion and your bruised pride.
He made it look so easyâeffortless.
You stood up, brushing off the dirt from your armor with a frustrated sigh, your fingers lingering on the spots where the ground had scraped your skin. You were still catching your breath, but it was clearâcombat wasnât going to be your immediate strong suit, not like it was for some of the others.
âYeah, I may have a long way to go with combat,â you muttered under your breath, âbut thereâs still other stuff Iâm good at.â
That thought pushed you forward, and soon you were walking toward the archery range, a small glimmer of determination lighting the way. The bow had always felt more natural to you than the sword and shield, even before you knew about your mother.
The sound of arrows hitting targets echoed through the area as you arrived. The archery range was lined with targets, some already peppered with arrows, others waiting for their turn. A few campers were already practicing, some with impressive skill, others just beginning to find their rhythm.
You walked to one of the nearby racks, grabbing a bow and quiver of arrows. It was lighter than you remembered, but sturdy in your hands. You took a moment to steady yourself, feeling the familiar grip, testing the tension in your fingers.
"Mind if I join?" you asked, glancing at the nearest archerâa tall, lean girl with long black hair who was effortlessly nailing the bullseye on her target.
She turned to you, her eyes scanning your form before giving a small nod. âSure, go ahead.â
You didnât say anything more. You simply nocked an arrow, drew it back, and aimed. Your focus sharpened, everything around you fading away as you lined up your shot. A deep breath, and then you released the arrow.
It flew true, hitting the target dead center.
The girl raised an eyebrow in mild surprise. âOkay, I admit it. Youâve got skill.â
You couldnât help the small smile that tugged at your lips. It wasnât combat, but thisâthat felt like something you could excel at.
âThanks,â you said, adjusting your stance and preparing for another shot. âIâve always been better with a bow.â
You didnât have the strength or speed that the others seemed to carry so naturally, but this was something you could control, something that felt more like you.
For a while, you just kept shooting, blocking out everything except the pull of the string, the release, and the thrill of hitting your target. It was grounding, in a way.
After a few more rounds, the girl who had been watching you approached again. She was still eyeing your shots, but this time with more interest.
âYouâve got good instincts,â she said, a hint of respect in her voice. âIâm Emily, daughter of Ares.â
You smiled at her, setting down the bow for a moment. âNice to meet you. Iâm Y/N. Daughter of Athena.â
Seoyeon nodded. âI can see that. You definitely have the focus of your mom.â
You didnât know if it was a compliment or just an observation, but it felt like the first time someone actually saw the connection between you and Athena in a positive way.
âThanks,â you said again, feeling a sense of pride. Maybe you still had a lot to prove, but you were starting to see the things you were good at.
A few days passed, and youâd settled into a routine at Camp Half-Blood. Though you werenât great with a sword yet, youâd at least stopped embarrassing yourself entirely.
One morning, while heading back from the archery range, you spotted a familiar face lounging near the stables. Wonbin. He wasnât holding a bow this time, nor was he causing chaos by almost hitting you with an arrow. Instead, he was leaning against a post, his arms crossed casually as he watched a group of campers walk by.
You hesitated for a moment before walking over, unsure of what to expect.
"Still dodging arrows, or have you gotten better?" he teased as you approached, a playful grin spreading across his face.
You rolled your eyes but couldnât help the small smile tugging at your lips. âIâm not dodging anything anymore. And, for the record, Iâm actually pretty good with a bow.â
âOh, I know. I saw you at the range yesterday,â he said, surprising you. âNot bad for a newbie.â
âWow, high praise coming from you,â you shot back, crossing your arms.
Wonbin laughed, the sound light and easy, and for a moment, you realized just how relaxed he seemed compared to some of the other campers.
âYouâre fun to mess with, you know,â he said, tilting his head slightly. âBut Iâm not just here to tease you. You looked a little stiff when you were sparring the other day. Want some help?â
You blinked, caught off guard. âYou want to help me?â
âWhy not? Someoneâs gotta make sure you donât embarrass yourself in front of everyone,â he said with a wink. âBesides, Iâm a great teacher.â
You snorted but nodded. âAlright, fine. Show me what youâve got.â
The two of you made your way to the training grounds, where it was surprisingly quiet for the time of day. Wonbin handed you a wooden training sword, the weight of it familiar but still slightly awkward in your hand.
âOkay, first things first,â Wonbin said, stepping in front of you. âStop gripping it like itâs a lifeline. Youâre not strangling the sword. Loosen up a bit.â
You adjusted your grip, and he nodded in approval.
âGood. Now, letâs see how you move.â
He took you through a few basic drills, correcting your stance and showing you how to shift your weight when you swung. Unlike the other demigods, Wonbin was patient. He didnât push too hard or make you feel like you were failing every time you messed up. Instead, he laughed when you tripped over your own feet and offered encouragement when you got it right.
âYouâre getting there,â he said after a particularly decent swing. âBut youâre thinking too much. Stop trying to overanalyze every move.â
âThinking is kind of my thing,â you muttered, adjusting your stance again.
âWell, turn it off for a bit. Just feel the movement. Trust me, itâll click eventually.â
And to your surprise, it did start to click. Slowly but surely, the awkwardness of holding a sword began to fade, replaced by a sense of control you hadnât felt before.
âYouâre actually pretty good at this,â you admitted after a while, lowering your sword to wipe the sweat from your brow.
âTold you Iâm a great teacher,â Wonbin said with a smirk. âBut youâre not bad yourself. Youâve got potential. Just stop overthinking.â
You laughed, shaking your head. âEasier said than done.â
The two of you sat down for a break, and you found yourself relaxing in his company. Wonbin was suprisingly easy to talk to.
âYou know,â you said after a moment, âyouâre actually kind of fun to be around. When youâre not shooting arrows at me, I mean.â
Wonbin grinned, leaning back on his hands. âIâll take that as a compliment. And, for the record, I wasnât trying to hit you. Just keeping you on your toes.â
âSure you were,â you said, rolling your eyes.
While laughing at one of Wonbinâs jokes, you suddenly felt a strange sensation, like the weight of someoneâs gaze on you. It was sharp, unrelenting, and impossible to ignore. You turned your head, scanning the area, and thatâs when your eyes locked onto him.
Ni-ki.
He was leaning casually against a tree not far from the training grounds, an apple in one hand as he bit into it with an air of complete indifference. But his eyes told a different story. He wasnât just looking at you; he was staring.
For a moment, you froze, caught in his intense gaze. His expression was unreadable, but there was something in the way he was watching you that made your stomach flip.
âUh, hello?â Wonbinâs voice broke through your thoughts. âYou still with me, or did you just see a ghost?â
You blinked, tearing your eyes away from Ni-ki to look back at Wonbin. âWhat? No, Iâm fine. Just⌠thought I saw something.â
Wonbin followed your gaze and immediately caught sight of Ni-ki. He let out a low whistle. âOhhh, I see. Tall, dark, and broody over there, huh? Thatâs Ni-ki for you. Likes to stare people down for no reason. Donât let him get to you.â
âIâm not letting him get to me,â you said quickly, but the heat rising to your cheeks betrayed you.
Wonbin grinned, clearly amused. âSure, sure. Just saying, heâs got that whole mysterious bad boy thing going on, doesnât he? Itâs kind of his signature.â
You rolled your eyes, trying to play it cool, but your curiosity was already piqued. Without realizing it, your gaze drifted back to Ni-ki.
This time, he smirked. Just the faintest twitch of his lips, but it was there, and it made your heart skip a beat. Like he knew exactly what he was doing.
Wonbin caught the exchange and snorted. âOh, this is gonna be interesting. You two havenât even talked yet, have you?â
âNot really,â you admitted, feeling a little self-conscious.
âWell, you better get used to it,â Wonbin said, leaning back on his hands. âNi-ki doesnât just stare at people for fun. If heâs looking at you like that, heâs either curious or heâs decided youâre worth messing with. Either way, good luck.â
You swallowed hard, stealing one last glance at Ni-ki before turning your attention back to Wonbin.
âYeah, thanks,â you muttered, trying to shake the strange mix of nerves and intrigue Ni-ki had sparked in you.
You found yourself staring back at Ni-ki, unable to stop. His gaze was unwavering, sharp, and entirely unapologetic. There was a challenge in it, though you couldnât tell what kind. Instead of looking away, you tilted your head slightly, trying to match his intensity, as if silently asking, What? What do you want?
Ni-ki took another bite of his apple, his eyes never leaving yours. That smirk tugged at his lips again, subtle but undeniably there, like he found your silent defiance amusing.
Meanwhile, Wonbin was still talking. Something about strategy, sparring tips, or maybe camp gossipâyou werenât really sure. His voice had faded into the background, your attention too firmly locked on Ni-ki.
â...and thatâs why you never spar with a son of Hermes if theyâre smiling,â Wonbin said with a laugh, nudging your arm lightly. âYou listening?â
âMm-hmm,â you mumbled, not breaking eye contact with Ni-ki.
Wonbin followed your line of sight and let out a low chuckle. âYouâre still looking at him? Wow, heâs really got you hooked, huh?â
That snapped you out of it. You turned back to Wonbin, your cheeks heating up. âIâm notâ! I was justâ!â
Wonbin grinned, cutting you off with a knowing look. âRelax, Iâm just messing with you. But seriously, if youâre gonna have a staring contest with Ni-ki, you better prepare to lose."
You glanced back toward the tree, but Ni-ki was no longer leaning there. He had disappeared, as silently as heâd been watching you, leaving nothing behind but the faint rustle of leaves in the breeze.
âSee? Creepy, right?â Wonbin said, shaking his head. âHeâs like a shadow.â
You frowned, a mix of confusion and curiosity bubbling in your chest. âHeâs⌠something, alright.â
Wonbin laughed and stood, brushing dirt off his pants. âCome on. If you keep thinking about him, youâll drive yourself crazy. Letâs hit the dining pavilion before lunch is gone.â
You followed him, but your thoughts kept drifting back to Ni-ki. There was something about him, something you couldnât quite put your finger on.
--
You swore life had a vendetta or something against you. Beacuse no matter where you went, no matter how much you tried to focus on your surroundings, he was there.
It wasnât just his presence that was getting to youâit was how he lived in your head now, too. Every time your mind wandered, it seemed to settle on him.
Ni-ki, leaning against a tree.
Ni-ki, passing by with that ever-present smirk.
Ni-ki, sparring in the distance and throwing a glance your way like he knew youâd been watching.
It was irritating, frustrating, and honestly a little confusing. You didnât even know the guy, but somehow, heâd gotten under your skin.
Finally, you decided you needed to clear your head. Without telling anyone, you set off on a walk, leaving the noisy heart of camp behind. The greenery stretched out around you, tall trees swaying gently in the breeze. It was quiet here, save for the rustling of leaves and the occasional birdcall.
You didnât have a destination in mind, nor did you need one. All you wanted was space to breathe, to think without distractions, without Ni-ki lurking in your peripheral vision.
The further you walked, the more you began to relax. The sunlight filtering through the leaves painted dappled patterns on the ground, and the earthy smell of the forest calmed your racing thoughts.
You found yourself stopping by a small clearing, where the grass was soft and the air felt lighter. Sitting down, you let out a long sigh, letting yourself unwind. For the first time in days, your mind felt quiet.
But of course, the peace didnât last.
âRunning away from something?â
The voice was low, smooth, and instantly recognizable. Your eyes shot open, and sure enough, there he wasâNi-ki, standing at the edge of the clearing, hands tucked casually into his pockets.
You groaned, throwing your head back. âSeriously? Do you just appear everywhere, or do you follow me on purpose?â
He raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. âWhy would I follow you? Youâre the one who always looks at me.â
Your cheeks flushed, and you scrambled to your feet. âI do not always look at you!â
Ni-ki stepped closer, the smirk on his face growing. âYou sure about that?â
âYes!â you snapped, though the heat in your face betrayed you.
For a moment, he said nothing, just studying you with that unreadable expression of his. Then, he shrugged. âIf you say so.â
âWhy are you even here?â you asked, crossing your arms. âDonât you have someone else to bother?â
Ni-ki shrugged, the corner of his mouth curling up in that signature smirk. âProbably. But whereâs the fun in that?â
He started walking, slow and deliberate, circling around you like a predator sizing up its prey. His steps were light, almost lazy, but his eyesâsharp and darkânever left yours.
âYou make it too easy,â he continued, his tone teasing. âThe way you get all flustered? Kind of entertaining.â
Your arms tightened over your chest as you turned to keep him in your line of sight. âIâm not flustered.â
He stopped just behind you, leaning in slightly. âYou sure about that?â
The hair on the back of your neck stood up as his voice dropped lower, teasing and amused. You spun around to face him, trying to hold your ground.
âYes, Iâm sure!â you snapped, glaring at him.
Ni-ki raised an eyebrow, his smirk deepening. âAlright, if you say so.â He resumed his slow pacing, his hands tucked casually into his pockets. âBut, you know, youâre kind of fun to mess with.â
You groaned, running a hand through your hair. âWhy me, though? There are literally dozens of other people you could annoy.â
âTrue,â he said, tilting his head as if he were considering it. âBut theyâre boring. Youâre⌠different.â
âDifferent how?â you demanded, narrowing your eyes at him.
He stopped in front of you, leaning slightly to meet your gaze. âI havenât figured that out yet,â he said, his voice soft but still laced with that infuriating teasing edge. âBut I will.â
You opened your mouth to respond, but he stepped back, cutting you off before you could speak.
âAnyway,â he said casually, stretching his arms over his head, âdonât let me stop you from enjoying your little walk.â
He turned to leave, but just as he passed by, he glanced at you out of the corner of his eye. âTry not to miss me too much.â
Your jaw dropped, and before you could stop yourself, you blurted out, âMiss you? Iââ
But Ni-ki was already walking away, his soft laughter trailing behind him as he disappeared into the trees.
You stood there, fists clenched at your sides, your face burning with frustration. âUnbelievable,â you muttered under your breath, walking away while muttering a string of complaints that only the trees around you could hear. âUnbelievable. Who does he think he is? âTry not to miss me too much.â Ugh, Iâll show him whoâs missing who.â You kicked at a stray rock on the path, watching it skitter off into the grass.
Your footsteps were heavier now, fueled by frustration, and your face was still hot from the way Ni-ki had managed to get under your skin again. It wasnât just his teasing; it was how effortlessly he seemed to read you, like he knew exactly which buttons to press to rile you up.
âStupid smirk. Stupid comments. Stupid Ni-ki,â you mumbled, rolling your eyes. You were so caught up in your thoughts that you didnât realize you were stomping deeper into the forest until the sound of laughter and chatter from camp faded into the distance.
You stopped, taking a deep breath to calm yourself. The forest around you was quiet and peaceful, the sunlight filtering softly through the trees. It was supposed to help, but instead, your mind kept replaying the look on his faceâthe way his smirk seemed permanently etched there, like he knew heâd won whatever game he thought you were playing.
You let out a frustrated groan and plopped down on a mossy rock. âWhy does he even care?â you muttered, staring at the ground. âWhy canât he just leave me alone?â
The forest offered no answers, just the distant rustle of leaves in the breeze. You stayed there for a moment, trying to push thoughts of Ni-ki out of your head. But of course, it was easier said than done.
After a while, you sighed and stood up, brushing the dirt off your clothes. âFine. Whatever. Let him play his little games,â you said, mostly to yourself. âIâve got better things to do than worry about him.â
With that, you turned back toward camp, determined to focus on literally anything other than Ni-ki. But as you walked, you couldnât help but feel like this wasnât the last time heâd find a way to cross your pathâand your thoughts.
And you stuck to your decision. You ignored Ni-ki completely, refusing to give him even a shred of your attention. No glances, no responses, no reactions. If he was leaning against a tree in your line of sight, youâd look the other way. If he passed by during training, youâd keep your eyes locked on your target. If he tried to make one of his smug comments, youâd act like he wasnât even there.
It wasnât easyâhe had a way of commanding attention whether you wanted to give it to him or notâbut you were determined to win this silent battle.
But of course, Ni-ki figured out your plan quickly.
And now? Now he seemed more determined than ever to get under your skin.
âAwfully quiet today, arenât you?â heâd say as he casually strolled by during your sword training, his voice laced with amusement.
Youâd grit your teeth and keep practicing, ignoring him completely.
âOh, come on, are we doing the whole âsilent treatmentâ thing now?â he teased another time, walking alongside you as you headed to the dining pavilion.
You didnât even glance at him, speeding up your steps instead. He just chuckled, easily matching your pace.
And the more you ignored him, the harder he tried.
Heâd pop up in the middle of your archery sessions, leaning casually against a tree just within your peripheral vision. He never said anything, just stood there with that maddening smirk, watching you until you missed a shot.
âLooks like youâre distracted,â heâd comment, his tone smug.
Still, you wouldnât take the bait.
But Ni-ki didnât give up.
One afternoon, during a strategy session with your cabinmates, you were deep in thought, discussing battle plans with Sophia when you heard a familiar voice behind you.
âI bet I could come up with something better,â Ni-ki said casually.
You tensed but kept your eyes on the map in front of you.
Sophia glanced between the two of you, her brows raised. âUh⌠should we be concerned about this?â
âNo,â you replied firmly, not even turning around.
Ni-ki leaned closer, his presence annoyingly obvious even though you refused to look at him. âReally? Youâre just going to ignore me like that?â
âYes,â you snapped before you could stop yourself.
Damn it.
Ni-ki straightened up, a victorious grin spreading across his face. âAh, there you are. I was starting to think Iâd lost my touch.â
You glared at him now, your resolve cracking. âWhat do you want, Ni-ki?â
He shrugged, his grin never fading. âNothing, really. Just nice to know youâre still paying attention.â
You groaned and turned back to the map, pointedly ignoring his laughter as he walked away.
--
From the moment Ni-ki first laid eyes on you, something inside him shiftedâsomething he didnât recognize, didnât fully understand, but couldnât ignore. You were standing there, looking so out of place in your awkwardness, clutching a sword and shield like you had no idea what to do with them. You didnât seem particularly strong, or fast, or even confident. And yet, he couldnât stop staring.
It wasnât just the way you lookedâthough that certainly didnât hurt. There was something about your presence, something about the way you held yourself, even when you were nervous and uncertain. You didnât cower, didnât shrink away. You were stubborn in a way that amused and intrigued him.
Ni-ki had never believed in love at first sight. His father made it very clear that loveâreal loveâwas a dangerous thing, a distraction at best, a weakness at worst. But this? Whatever this was? It wasnât weakness.
It was craving.
The kind of craving that gnawed at him, that made his chest tighten and his mind race. He wanted you, needed you, and it wasnât just physicalâthough that was certainly part of it. It was deeper than that, more consuming. He wanted to know you, to unravel every layer of who you were, to understand what made you tick.
And he wanted to own you.
Not in a controlling, possessive way (or maybe it was, a little), but in the way that he wanted you to think of him the same way he thought of you. He wanted to occupy your every thought, to haunt your dreams and distract you during the day.
The rational part of himâthe part that listened to his fatherâs warnings and tried to follow the unspoken rulesâknew he shouldnât feel this way. It was dangerous. Relationships between demigods were complicated enough, and this? This felt like it had the potential to destroy him.
But Ni-ki didnât care.
Screw his fatherâs advice. Screw the rules. Heâd never cared much for them anyway. All that mattered was you.
At first, he tried to keep his distance, watching from afar as you stumbled your way through camp life. He thought he could resist it, thought he could just⌠observe. But that only made it worse. The more he saw youâthe way you laughed with others, the determined furrow of your brow during training, the moments when you thought no one was looking and let your guard downâthe more he wanted you.
No, not wanted. Needed.
So he started testing you. Little things, at first. A teasing comment here, a smirk there, just to see how youâd react. And when you fired back, when you glared at him with that spark of defiance in your eyes, it only made him want you more.
You didnât shy away from him like others did. You didnât try to impress him or avoid him. You stood your ground, even when you were clearly annoyedâor flustered.
That was when he knew he was done for.
Was it love? Infatuation? Obsession? Ni-ki didnât know, and he didnât care to figure it out. All he knew was that you consumed him, and no amount of time or distance seemed to lessen the pull you had on him.
He couldnât help it. You were the challenge he couldnât resist, the flame he couldnât stop himself from chasing.
And one way or another, he was going to have you. Even if it meant burning himself in the process.
--
You hadnât really delved much into Greek mythology before. Sure, youâd heard the basicsâZeus, Hera, Poseidonâbut the details? The stories? All the little quirks and scandals of the gods? None of that had ever crossed your radar. But now, you decided it was better late than never.
So, you borrowedâor, well, stoleâa few books from one of your half-sisters. She probably wouldnât miss them for a while anyway. Clutching the worn leather covers to your chest, you found a quiet place by the water, a spot where the trees cast long shadows and the sound of the camp faded into the background.
Settling down on a smooth rock, you cracked open the first book, its pages yellowed and filled with ornate text. As you began reading, the stories unfolded like vivid dreams in your mind. The gods were⌠messy, to put it lightly. Petty, dramatic, and surprisingly human for beings who supposedly ruled the cosmos.
It was fascinating, though. Each page gave you a little more insight into the world you were now a part ofâthe powers at play, the legacy you carried. You lingered on the pages about Athena, your mother. The goddess of wisdom, strategy, and war.
You ran a finger over an illustration of her, dressed in shining armor, an owl perched on her shoulder. It was hard to believe you had any connection to her. She seemed so⌠perfect. So otherworldly. How could someone like that have a daughter like you?
Lost in thought, you barely noticed the sound of footsteps behind you until a shadow fell over the pages of your book.
"Stealing books now? Youâre full of surprises," a familiar voice drawled.
You didnât need to look up to know who it was.
âNi-ki,â you sighed, your tone flat. âWhat do you want?â
He crouched beside you, his sword dangling lazily from his belt, an apple in his handâagain. He took a bite and chewed slowly, like he had all the time in the world.
âJust curious,â he said, tilting his head to look at the book in your lap. âAh, some light reading i see?â
You ignored him, turning the page and pretending to focus on the words in front of you. But you could feel his eyes on you, studying you like you were some kind of puzzle he was determined to solve.
After a moment of silence, he leaned closer, his shoulder brushing yours. âSo, what are you reading about? Your mom?â
You gave him a sideways glance. âWhatâs it to you?â
He shrugged, taking another bite of his apple. âJust wondering if youâre finally starting to take this whole âdemigodâ thing seriously.â
âIâve always taken it seriously,â you shot back.
âSure,â he said, his smirk widening. âThatâs why youâre hiding out here instead of training.â
You snapped the book shut and turned to glare at him. âDo you ever get tired of bothering me?â
Ni-ki leaned back on his heels, his grin never fading. âNot really. You make it fun.â
You were about to turn and fire off a snarky comeback, something sharp to wipe that smug grin off his face, but the words got caught in your throat the moment you saw how close he was to you now.
When did he get so close?
Ni-ki had been leaning back a second ago, but now he was right there, barely a breath away. You could see the faint scar on his jawline, the sharp curve of his cheekbones, the way his dark eyes seemed to glint with something unreadable. It wasnât just the physical proximity that unsettled youâit was the way he was looking at you, like you were the only thing that mattered in that moment.
Your body stiffened, unsure whether to step back or hold your ground, but your body refused to move. You told yourself it was irritation, frustration with his endless teasing, but deep down, you werenât so sure.
âCat got your tongue?â Ni-ki asked softly, his voice low and teasing, but it didnât carry the same playful edge as before. His gaze flicked to your lips for the briefest of moments before meeting your eyes again, his expression unreadable.
You blinked, finally snapping out of whatever strange trance youâd fallen into. âWhatâwhat are you doing?â you managed to ask, though your voice came out quieter than youâd intended.
Ni-ki tilted his head slightly, the corner of his mouth curving into that maddening smirk. âJust wondering what itâd take to finally shut you up,â he murmured, his tone light but carrying an underlying intensity that made your stomach flip.
You opened your mouth to say somethingâanythingâbut the words died on your tongue when a voice interrupted from behind.
âHey, uh⌠am I interrupting something?â
Both you and Ni-ki turned at the same time, and there stood Wonbin, looking between the two of you with a slightly raised eyebrow. His expression was casual enough, but there was a flicker of curiosity in his eyes as he took in the scene.
He didnât linger on Ni-ki for long, though. His gaze settled on you, softening as he asked, âDo you want to grab something to eat? I was just heading to the pavilion, and, well⌠figured Iâd ask if you wanted to come along.â
His voice held a hopeful edge, and you didnât even hesitate.
âYes!â you said, a little too quickly. You scrambled to your feet, brushing off the dirt and leaves. âAbsolutely, Iâm starving.â
Ni-ki raised an eyebrow, his smirk twitching as if he were trying to stifle a laugh. âStarving, huh?â he drawled, his tone dripping with amusement.
You shot him a glare but didnât dignify him with a response. Instead, you walked over to Wonbin, grabbed his arm, and practically dragged him away before Ni-ki could say anything else.
âLetâs go,â you said, your voice a little sharper than intended as you pulled Wonbin toward the direction of the dining pavilion.
As you walked away, you could feel Ni-kiâs gaze burning into your back. You refused to look over your shoulder, but you didnât have to. You could already picture the smug expression on his face, and it only made you grip Wonbinâs arm tighter.
Wonbin glanced down at you, a little surprised but clearly pleased. âWow, I didnât think youâd say yes that fast,â he said with a small chuckle. âGuess you were hungrier than I thought.â
You managed a smile, though your mind was still racing from the tension youâd just escaped. âYeah, something like that,â you muttered, trying to shake off the lingering heat in your cheeks.
Wonbin didnât press, simply walking beside you and chatting about something lightâcamp rumors, training schedules, the usual.
--
Ni-ki watched as you walked away, dragging Wonbin by the arm, your laughter drifting faintly on the breeze. It wasnât loud or directed at him, but it still gnawed at him in a way that made his jaw clench.
Something primal and possessive stirred deep in his chest, demanding he actârun after you, grab your wrist, pull you away from Wonbin, from anyone, and keep you hidden where only he could reach you. The thought sent a dangerous thrill through him. He could do it. He had the power, the determination, the will.
But no. Not yet.
He leaned back against the tree, biting into the apple in his hand to mask the frustration clawing its way to the surface. His dark eyes stayed fixed on your retreating form, lingering on the way your head tilted toward Wonbin as if he deserved your attention, as if he could actually be worth something to you.
The thought was laughable.
Wonbin was nothing. Just another pretty face with a bow in hand. He didnât know youânot the way Ni-ki did, not the way Ni-ki could. Wonbin didnât see the sharp wit hidden behind your hesitance, the way your eyes lit up with determination when you put your mind to something, or the rare, fleeting smiles you gave when you thought no one was looking.
Ni-ki saw all of it. He memorized every moment, every word, every glance you spared him, even if it was in irritation. And the more he saw, the more he needed.
No, Wonbin couldnât make you happy. Not the way Ni-ki could.
Ni-kiâs grip tightened on the apple, the fruit cracking under the pressure of his fingers. Heâd go to the Underworld and back for youâliterally, if it came to that. It was his realm, after all. His father may have warned him against becoming attached to others, especially demigods, but Ni-ki didnât care. Whether it was love or infatuation didnât matter. All he knew was that you belonged to him, and one day, youâd realize it too.
You just needed⌠a little push.
Ni-kiâs lips curved into a slow, dark smile as he took another bite of the apple, his gaze never leaving the direction youâd gone.
He could wait. He was patient, after all.
But heâd make sure you saw it soon enough. That he was better than any other guy in camp, better than Wonbin, better than anyone who thought they could have a place in your life.
And when that moment came, when you finally saw him for what he truly wasâyoursâthere wouldnât be anything or anyone that could take you away from him.
Ni-ki stayed by the tree long after you disappeared from view, his fingers idly turning the half-eaten apple over in his hand. His mind raced with thoughts of you, each one tightening the knot of desire and obsession in his chest.
He could picture it so clearlyâthe moment when youâd finally stop running from him, stop looking at him like he was some bothersome shadow in your life. One day, youâd see him as he saw you. One day, youâd understand that no one else could ever care for you, protect you, love you the way he could.
He exhaled slowly, forcing himself to relax. There was no need to rush. The more you resisted him now, the more satisfying it would be when you eventually gave in.
Ni-ki tilted his head to the side, his dark eyes glinting with quiet determination. He knew what he needed to do.
First, heâd let you play your little gameâignoring him, giving your attention to others like Wonbin. It was amusing in its own way, watching you try to distance yourself from him, as if that would somehow change the pull between you.
Then, when the time was right, heâd push. Not too hard, not enough to scare you, but just enough to remind you who was really worth your time.
And finally? Heâd make sure you understood that he wasnât going anywhere.
It wasnât just about winning you over. It was about showing you what you were missingâwhat life with him could be like. Heâd keep you safe from everything and everyone that didnât deserve you, even if that meant disobeying his father to ensure it.
Ni-ki straightened up, tossing the apple core to the ground as a small smirk tugged at his lips.
This wasnât just about patience anymore. This was about strategyâsomething his own father had taught him well.
âEnjoy your little moments with Wonbin,â he murmured under his breath, the faintest trace of amusement lacing his voice. âIt wonât matter in the end.â
With that, he turned and strode away from the tree, his mind already working on his next move.
You could try to ignore him. You could even try to hate him.
But it didnât matter. Not to Ni-ki.
Heâd seen the way your eyes lingered on him for a fraction too long when you thought he wasnât paying attention. The way you always seemed to know exactly where he was, even when you claimed you didnât care. You could tell yourself that you didnât feel the pull between you, that his presence didnât affect you, but Ni-ki knew better.
He always knew better.
He didnât care how long it took, or how many distractions you tried to throw his wayâWonbin included. None of it mattered.
In the end, youâd come to him. Youâd have to.
Because Ni-ki wasnât the kind of person to lose, especially not when it came to something he wanted.
And he wanted you.
--
You were doomedâcompletely and utterly doomedâfrom the moment you were born. Your life wouldâve been so much easier if your father had just fallen for a regular mortal instead of a literal Greek goddess. You couldâve gone through life oblivious to this whole other world of gods, monsters, and irritatingly attractive demigods. But no. Instead, he had to send you here, to this camp.
And because of that, you got to know Ni-ki.
You tried sticking by Wonbin. He was fun, charming, and easy to be around. He didnât make your blood boil with irritation or tie your thoughts into knots that you couldnât untangle, and you appreciated that. You told yourself that staying close to him was the best way to avoid the storm that was Ni-ki.
But it was no use.
No matter where you went, no matter what you did, Ni-ki was always there, lingering on the edges of your mind if not right in front of you. He wasnât like Wonbinâhe didnât make small talk or try to keep the peace. Ni-ki thrived on chaos, on teasing you, testing you, pushing every button you had until you didnât know whether you wanted to yell at him or⌠something else.
It was maddening, frustrating, exhausting.
You caught yourself looking for him more often than you cared to admit, your eyes darting around camp during training sessions or meals. Even when he wasnât near, you could feel the weight of his presence, like a shadow always lurking just behind you. And when you did see him? The infuriating smirk on his face made your heart race in a way that left you cursing under your breath.
You sighed as you sat by the campfire that evening, staring into the flickering flames. Wonbin was beside you, laughing and chatting with a group of other campers, but his voice faded into the background. Your thoughts were elsewhereâon the dark-haired boy who had somehow managed to weave himself into every corner of your life without your permission.
âWhy do you look like youâre plotting murder?â Wonbin asked suddenly, breaking you out of your thoughts.
You blinked, turning to look at him. âHuh?â
âYouâre glaring at the fire like it insulted your family or something,â he teased, nudging your shoulder.
You forced a laugh, shaking your head. âItâs nothing. Just thinking.â
He raised an eyebrow but didnât push further, thankfully.
Still, your mind refused to settle. You were doomed, all right. Doomed because no matter how hard you tried to ignore Ni-ki, some part of you always ended up being pulled back to him. Like gravity.
And the worst part?
A small, treacherous voice in the back of your mind whispered that maybe you didnât want to fight it as much as you pretended to.
In fact, it was growing louder with every interaction, every smirk, every time Ni-kiâs dark eyes locked with yours like he could see straight through you. It was infuriating. It was maddening. But it was also⌠impossible to ignore.
You tried to shake it off, focusing on anything elseâWonbinâs jokes, the campâs bustling energy, even the endless stream of chores and training drills. But none of it worked. No matter what you did, Ni-ki was there, lingering at the edge of your thoughts like a shadow you couldnât escape.
You hated it. You hated how much space he took up in your head, how his teasing smirk and smooth voice haunted you even when he wasnât around.
But what you hated most of all?
The way your heart raced when he was around.
You let out a frustrated sigh, leaning back against the log by the campfire. The flames danced in front of you, but their warmth didnât do much to ease the chill of confusion and frustration that settled in your chest.
You stood up abruptly, brushing the dirt off your hands. âIâm going to bed,â you mumbled, not really looking at anyone.
Wonbin glanced at you, concerned, but he didnât say anything as you turned and headed toward the Athena cabin. The night air was cool against your skin, a sharp contrast to the warmth of the fire. You welcomed it, hoping it might clear your head.
When you pushed open the door to the cabin, you were surprised to find it empty. Normally, your half-sisters were gathered around, quietly reading.
You didnât think too much about it as you made your way to your bed. Sitting down heavily, you groaned, letting your body relax for the first time all day. The mattress creaked under your weight, and you leaned back, staring up at the wooden ceiling.
Your mind, of course, wouldnât quiet.
Ni-kiâs face flashed in your thoughtsâhis smirk, his sharp gaze, the way he always seemed so calm and in control, as if he knew exactly how to get under your skin. You groaned again, pressing the heels of your palms against your eyes in frustration.
âWhat is wrong with me?â you muttered to yourself.
This wasnât like you. You didnât let people get to you like this, especially not guys like Ni-ki. He was aggravating, arrogant, and far too sure of himself.
And yet.
Your thoughts drifted back to the moments when his teasing tone softened just slightly, or the way his presence seemed to shift when it was just the two of you. It made your chest tighten in a way you didnât want to admit.
You sat up abruptly, shaking your head as if that would somehow shake the thoughts loose. âNo,â you said firmly, as if declaring it out loud would make it true. âIâm not doing this.â
The next day, you were in the middle of a match, your shield raised and your sword slicing through the air as you managed to disarm your opponent with a clean move. Breathing heavily, you stepped back and lowered your weapon, a small grin tugging at your lips.
Straightening up, you turned to face the group. âAlright,â you said, brushing a hand across your brow. âWhoâs next?â
The crowd shifted slightly, and then you saw him.
Ni-ki, standing at the edge of the group, his hand raised lazily as that infuriating smirk spread across his face.
Your stomach sank.
âMe,â he said simply, stepping forward with a casual confidence that made you grit your teeth.
He unsheathed his sword, the metal glinting in the sunlight as he spun it once in his hand, almost lazily. âDonât look so excited to see me,â he teased, his voice low and taunting.
You groaned audibly, earning a few chuckles from the others watching. âOf course itâs you,â you muttered under your breath, gripping your sword tightly.
Ni-kiâs grin widened as he stopped a few feet in front of you, his posture relaxed, but his eyes sharp. âReady to show me what youâve got?â
âDonât you have anyone else to fight?â you shot back, raising your shield and positioning your sword defensively.
He tilted his head, pretending to think. âNope,â he said with mock cheerfulness. âYouâre my favorite target.â
You rolled your eyes, but before you could fire off another retort, Ni-ki lunged. His sword came down fast, and you barely managed to block it with your shield. The force of the blow made your arm ache, but you quickly recovered, stepping to the side and swinging your sword toward him.
Ni-ki parried with ease, his movements fluid and almost effortless. âNot bad,â he said, circling you slowly. âYouâve been practicing.â
âShut up and fight,â you snapped, aiming a quick thrust toward his side.
He dodged it easily, his smirk never faltering. âFeisty,â he teased, blocking your next strike with his sword. âI like it.â
You groaned in frustration, your swings becoming more aggressive as Ni-ki continued to block and dodge with maddening ease. He wasnât even trying to land a hit yetâjust toying with you, testing you, like a cat playing with its prey.
âStop holding back!â you shouted, lunging forward with all your strength.
Ni-kiâs eyes flashed, and for a split second, his smirk turned into something more serious. He sidestepped your attack and, with a quick flick of his wrist, knocked your sword out of your hand.
Before you could react, he stepped closer, the tip of his blade resting lightly against your collarbone.
âLooks like I win,â he said softly, his voice low enough that only you could hear. His eyes locked with yours, and for a moment, the world around you seemed to fade away.
Your heart pounded, but whether it was from the fight or the way Ni-ki was looking at you, you couldnât tell.
âMaybe next time,â he added, stepping back and lowering his sword.
You glared at him, your cheeks burning with a mix of frustration and something you didnât want to name. âDonât get used to it,â you muttered, bending down to pick up your weapon.
Ni-ki just chuckled, spinning his sword once before sheathing it. âIâm counting on it.â
--
The day had been long, exhausting even, but despite the ache in your muscles and the overwhelming need for rest, sleep refused to come. You lay in bed, staring at the wooden ceiling of the Athena cabin, your mind swirling with thoughts you couldnât seem to shut off.
The cabin was quiet, the soft snores of your half-sisters filling the space. You shouldâve felt comforted by the familiar surroundings, but instead, you felt restless. Like there was something pulling at you, demanding your attention.
With a frustrated sigh, you sat up, swinging your legs over the side of the bed. Maybe some fresh air would help clear your mind. You grabbed a light jacket and slipped out of the cabin as quietly as you could.
The camp was quieter now, most of the other demigods asleep, save for a few shadows moving by the campfire in the distance. You tugged your jacket closer around you and glanced up at the night sky.
The stars twinkled faintly above, scattered across the inky black canvas. You let out a soft sigh, your breath visible in the chill. âIf youâre listening, Mom,â you murmured, tilting your head upward, âa little guidance would be nice right about now.â
Of course, there was no response. You didnât expect one. Still, the act of asking felt oddly comforting, like maybe she was watching, even if she couldnât answer.
You shook your head, trying to dispel the lingering frustration and confusion from your thoughts. Wandering through camp aimlessly wouldnât help. You needed to do something. Anything.
Your gaze landed on the training grounds nearby. Rows of weapons were neatly arranged on the racks for the next dayâs use, and your hand instinctively reached for a sword. It wasnât the same one you had used earlier during training, but it felt good in your grip nonetheless.
Without a second thought, you made your way to a clearing a little farther from the cabins, away from prying eyes and the ever-present chatter of the other campers.
You adjusted your stance, gripping the sword tightly as you took a deep breath. Then you started practicing.
It was awkward at firstâyour swings too wide, your footing unsteady. But you didnât stop. You moved through the motions youâd been taught, the echoes of Wonbinâs voice guiding you. The weight of the sword felt familiar in your hands now, and the repetition of each movement slowly began to calm your racing thoughts.
Slash. Step. Block. Pivot.
Each strike and parry chipped away at your frustration, leaving behind a faint sense of satisfaction. The rhythmic movements grounded you, a reminder that maybe, just maybe, you werenât as out of place here as you felt.
The clearing was quiet except for the sound of your blade slicing through the air and the occasional rustle of leaves. The stars above seemed to glow a little brighter, as if approving of your effort.
But then, a soft sound broke through your focusâa quiet crunch of leaves behind you.
You froze mid-swing, your heart skipping a beat as you turned around sharply, sword raised defensively.
There, leaning casually against a tree, was Ni-ki. His dark eyes reflected the moonlight, and his ever-present smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.
âPracticing alone?â he drawled, his voice low and teasing. âDidnât think youâd be the type.â
You groaned, rolling your eyes as you turned back around. âDonât you have something else to do?â you muttered, raising your sword to continue your practice.
The satisfying swoosh of the blade cutting through the air was short-lived, though, as another crunch of leaves soundedâcloser this time.
You stiffened, the hairs on the back of your neck standing up. Slowly, you turned back around, only to find Ni-ki standing much, much closer than before.
Too close.
You instinctively stepped back, gripping the hilt of your sword tighter. âWhat are you doing?â you demanded, your voice sharper than you intended.
Ni-ki didnât answer immediately. Instead, he unsheathed his sword in one smooth motion, the blade catching the faint glow of the moonlight.
Without a word, his sword clashed against yours, the force of it sending a jolt up your arm.
âTraining,â he said simply, his voice calm and deliberate.
Your breaths came faster as you struggled to hold your ground. His strength was undeniable, and the weight of his blade pressed hard against yours.
âYou couldâve warned me,â you bit out, gritting your teeth as you pushed back against him.
âWhereâs the fun in that?â Ni-ki replied smoothly, tilting his head as he studied you.
You narrowed your eyes, trying to focus on his movements as he pulled back slightly before swinging again. You barely managed to block the strike, the clash of metal ringing loudly in the quiet night.
âStop holding back,â he said, his voice low and almost taunting. âOr are you scared?â
âIâm not scared,â you snapped, stepping forward to swing at him, only for him to parry your attack effortlessly.
âCouldâve fooled me,â he teased, his smirk growing wider.
Your frustration bubbled over as you struck again, this time with more force. Ni-ki blocked it easily, but instead of countering, he let his sword linger against yours, his face mere inches from yours now.
âSee?â he murmured, his tone soft but no less infuriating. âYouâre getting better already.â
His closeness made your heart race, and you hated that you couldnât tell if it was from irritation or something else entirely. You pushed his sword away with a sharp motion and stepped back, glaring at him.
âWhy are you even doing this?â you demanded, lowering your sword slightly.
Ni-ki tilted his head, his smirk fading just a fraction. For a moment, you thought he might actually answer seriously.
But then his lips curved again, and he stepped forward, his blade tapping lightly against yours.
âBecause,â he said, his voice dropping into a near-whisper as he leaned in closer, âI like seeing you fight back.â
That was it. That little smirk, the taunting lilt in his voiceâit was enough to light a fire under you. If he wanted a fight, you werenât going to back down.
âFine,â you snapped, gripping your sword tighter as you took a step forward. âLetâs see if you can handle it.â
Ni-kiâs grin widened, his dark eyes gleaming with excitement. âThatâs more like it.â
He struck first, his movements sharp and calculated, but this time you were ready. You blocked his attack and retaliated quickly, your blade swinging toward him in a controlled arc. He parried with ease, the metallic clang of your swords echoing through the clearing.
The fight intensified, your strikes becoming faster, more precise. Ni-ki moved like a shadow, fluid and unpredictable, but you werenât as easy to throw off now.
âYouâre learning,â he said, his voice steady even as he blocked another one of your attacks. âBut youâre still predictable.â
âShut up,â you shot back, using your shield to deflect his next swing and stepping closer to try and land a blow. He sidestepped easily, his laughter low and infuriating.
âThat temper of yours is going to get you in trouble,â he teased, but there was something almost approving in his tone.
You didnât bother replying this time, focusing instead on matching his movements. You swung again, your blade aimed for his side, and for the first time, you saw the faintest flicker of surprise in his eyes as he blocked you just a fraction too late.
Your sword glanced off his armor, the impact making him take a half-step back.
âNot bad,â Ni-ki admitted, his smirk returning as he circled you. âYouâre starting to make this interesting.â
The praise caught you off guard, and you couldnât help the slight swell of pride that followed. But you didnât let it distract you.
âBetter than you expected, huh?â you said, unable to resist the jab as you pivoted to keep him in your line of sight.
Ni-kiâs grin turned sharp. âDonât get cocky.â
He lunged suddenly, his movements faster and more aggressive. You barely managed to block him, your arms straining as he pressed his weight against your blade.
For a moment, you were locked together, his face inches from yours. His dark eyes bore into you, filled with an intensity that made your breath hitch.
âYouâre enjoying this,â he said softly, his voice teasing but laced with something deeper.
You didnât deny it. Somehow, in the midst of the fight, youâd forgotten about your frustration, your doubts, even your irritation with him. All that mattered now was holding your ground against someone as skilled as Ni-ki.
âMaybe I am,â you admitted, a small smirk tugging at your lips.
Ni-ki blinked, momentarily caught off guard when your sudden, unexpected move knocked the sword clean out of his hand. The blade clattered to the ground a few feet away, and you straightened, your smirk growing wider as you stared at him triumphantly.
âDidnât see that coming, did you?â you teased, the satisfaction in your voice clear.
For once, Ni-ki seemed genuinely surprised, his dark eyes flicking to the fallen sword before locking back onto you. âIâll admit,â he said slowly, a hint of amusement coloring his tone, âthat was clever.â
You were about to bask in your victory, perhaps even throw another jab his way, but before you could, Ni-kiâs leg swept out suddenly, catching you off guard.
Your balance gave way, and you stumbled backward, ready to hit the ground hardâexcept you didnât.
In a flash, Ni-kiâs arm shot out, wrapping securely around your waist and pulling you back up against him. The world tilted for a moment, and when you opened your eyes, you realized how close you were.
Your noses brushed lightly, and his face was only inches from yours. His dark eyes bore into yours, filled with that maddening confidence and something else that made your breath hitch.
âYou should never celebrate too early,â he murmured, his voice low and teasing.
Your mind scrambled to process what was happening. His arm was still wrapped firmly around your waist, his other hand pressed lightly against the small of your back. You could feel the warmth radiating off him, the way his chest rose and fell with each steady breath.
You shouldâve said somethingâanything. A snarky comeback, maybe, or even a protest about his unfair tactics. But instead, all you could do was stare at him, your heart pounding so loud you were sure he could hear it.
Ni-ki tilted his head slightly, his smirk softening into something more curious. âWhatâs wrong?â he asked, his voice dropping to a whisper.
That snapped you out of it, and you quickly shoved at his chest. âLet go of me,â you muttered, trying to sound annoyed despite the heat rising to your cheeks.
He chuckled but released you, stepping back just enough to give you space. His hand lingered for the briefest second before he let it fall to his side.
âNice move, though,â he said, his tone almost genuineâalmost. âBut youâll have to do better if you want to beat me.â
You scowled at him, trying to regain some semblance of dignity. âI did beat you. I knocked your sword out of your hand!â
âAnd yet,â Ni-ki said, bending down to retrieve his sword and twirling it effortlessly, âI still had the upper hand.â
You clenched your jaw, watching him looking too pleased with himself. The smugness on his face only made your frustration burn brighter.
âI donât know how you can be so damn confident when you just got outplayed,â you muttered, crossing your arms over your chest, trying to hide the fact that your heart was still racing.
Ni-ki chuckled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. âOutplayed, huh?â He took a step closer, still twirling his sword. âYouâre getting better, Iâll give you that. But youâre not there yet.â
âYouâre a cocky bastard, you know that?â
âIâm not cocky,â he said, the teasing tone never leaving his voice. âIâm just confident. And youâll get used to it... if youâre smart.â
You raised an eyebrow, not backing down an inch. âSmart, huh?â
Ni-ki leaned in slightly, lowering his voice in a way that made your breath hitch again. âYeah. Smart enough to realize that youâre not going to get rid of me that easily.â
âI never wanted to get rid of you,â you snapped, trying to regain your composure. âI just wanted to be left alone.â
Ni-ki took another step closer, and this time, you didnât pull away. His presence was overwhelmingâlike he could consume you entirely if you let him. âYou say that, but we both know thatâs not true.â His lips curled into a smile as he tilted his head slightly. âYou wouldnât keep coming back to me if you didnât want something.â
Your mouth went dry, and for a second, you forgot how to breathe. What was he getting at? Why was he suddenly so... intense? You didnât know if it was the way he was looking at you or how close he was, but you felt something shift between you, something that made it harder to focus.
Before you could respond, Ni-ki backed away just enough to give you some space, but not before his gaze lingered on you with an unreadable expression. âYouâll figure it out eventually,â he said softly, almost like a challenge. âBut for now, donât forgetâI'm always watching.â
He turned and walked off, leaving you standing there, breathless, a mix of anger and confusion swirling inside you. You opened your mouth to say something, but no words came out.
What the hell was that?
Over the next few days, something between you and Ni-ki shifted. It wasnât immediately obvious, but it was there, lingering.
At first, it was subtle. A glance that lingered just a second too long, a playful comment that felt just a little more personal than it used to be. He still teased you, still pushed your buttons the way only he could, but there was a new layer to it. Every time he sparred with you, there was something in his eyesâsomething that made your heart beat faster, something that made you feel like he was seeing right through you.
It was hard to tell whether you were imagining it, but you felt it, that strange connection you couldnât shake. It wasnât just the usual back-and-forth banter, the constant friction. No, this time, there was something deeper. Something charged. You found yourself waiting for his gaze across the training grounds, your stomach tightening whenever heâd casually stroll past you, like he was waiting for you to say something, anything.
One afternoon, you found yourself in the training yard again, sword in hand, working through some drills. You were trying to focus, trying to shut everything else out, but there he wasâNi-ki, watching you from the edge of the field, leaning casually against a tree. You tried to ignore him, but every few seconds, your eyes would wander over to him, and youâd catch him staring right back.
Finally, he pushed off from the tree and walked over. âYou know,â he said, his voice drawing your attention even before he was close enough to speak, âyouâve gotten better. Iâm impressed.â
You narrowed your eyes, trying to keep your composure. âDonât get used to it,â you shot back, though the words came out more lightly than youâd intended.
Ni-ki smirked, his usual arrogance taking over. âOh, Iâm not. But youâre not as bad as I thought youâd be.â
You felt the familiar spark of irritation flare up. âAnd here I thought you might actually give me a compliment.â
âYou really want one from me?â he teased, his voice lowering just slightly. It was almost like a challenge, but there was something else in his toneâsomething that made you pause.
You crossed your arms, forcing yourself to act unaffected. âWhatâs it going to take for you to just leave me alone?â
He took a step closer, that teasing smile still tugging at his lips. âYou know, I donât think I can do that.â
You didnât know why, but you found yourself holding his gaze longer than usual. You were still mad at him for everything, for the way he always seemed to be in your face when you least wanted him to be. But there was also a strange pull, a curiosity that gnawed at you. You didnât want to admit it, but you were starting to care about the things he said, about the way he looked at you.
You cleared your throat, breaking the moment. âDonât get too cocky, Ni-ki. Iâm not interested.â
He chuckled softly, a knowing glint in his eyes. âMaybe youâre not. But I donât think you can ignore me forever.â
You took a step back, your heart pounding as you tried to collect yourself, but Ni-kiâs presence was magnetic, pulling you in with an intensity you couldn't fight.
"You're not as good at pretending as you think," he said, his tone a challenge, but there was something softer in it this time.
You clenched your jaw, irritated with yourself for letting him get under your skin. "I'm not pretending," you snapped, your words sharper than you intended. "And Iâm definitely not the one whoâs making this complicated."
His lips curved into a smile, and he moved just a little bit closer, his gaze intense, unwavering. "You always make things more complicated than they need to be," he said, almost like a confession, like he was admitting something without saying it outright.
You opened your mouth to respond, but the words caught in your throat. What could you even say? What was there to say when everything between you and him felt so tangled?
Ni-ki took a step forward, not giving you a chance to speak. "I know you feel it too," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "You canât keep pretending like you donât want this."
Your breath hitched at his words, your chest tightening. You wanted to push him away, to tell him off like you always did, but this time, the thought didnât come. Instead, you stood there, frozen, staring into his eyes, realizing that he was right. You couldnât keep pretending, couldnât keep pretending like it didnât affect you, like his teasing and his relentless pursuit didnât make something inside you stir.
A small, dangerous part of you wanted to give in, to let yourself feel whatever this was between you. But you couldnâtâcould you? You werenât sure what this was, what you were supposed to do with it.
Ni-ki took another step closer, and you found yourself backing up slightly, your heels hitting the soft earth beneath you. "Youâre scared," he said, his voice softer now, like a quiet understanding. "But I wonât bite, not unless you want me to."
His words made your stomach twist, the light touch of a dare in his voice, a challenge you couldnât quite ignore. You felt your pulse quicken, every nerve in your body alert, wanting to resist him, but at the same time, craving what he was offering, whatever that might be.
So why not act on it?
Your heart pounded in your chest as you acted on impulse, unable to resist the magnetic pull any longer. Before you could second-guess yourself, you reached up and grabbed his shirt, pulling him toward you. The suddenness of it caught him off guard, and for a split second, he froze, eyes wide in disbelief.
But then, almost as if a switch had been flipped, Ni-ki closed the distance between you, his hands finding your cheeks as he kissed you back. His lips were hungry, as if he had been waiting for this moment, and the intensity of his kiss made your head spin. You could feel the heat of his touch, the way his fingers slid through your hair, tugging you closer, as if trying to pull you into him.
Your mind was a blur, every thought drowned out by the sensation of himâhis scent, the taste of his lips, the urgency that seemed to pulse between you both. It felt like something had shifted, like everything else had faded away, leaving only this moment, only him.
His hands were gentle but firm, holding your face as he deepened the kiss, his body pressing closer to yours.
When he finally pulled back, both of you were breathing heavily, the air between you thick with unspoken words. Ni-kiâs eyes were dark with something intense, something more than just the teasing that had always been there before. He stared at you for a moment, his fingers still lingering on your face as if he were trying to make sense of what had just happened.
âYouâŚâ He trailed off. âThatâs one way to get my attention.â
You swallowed, your pulse still racing, but now with a new, more dangerous energy. âMaybe I just wanted to see if youâd actually kiss me back,â you whispered, a smile tugging at your lips despite yourself.
Ni-ki chuckled, like he was both impressed and thrilled.
"Youâre dangerous," you murmured, the words slipping out before you could stop them, not sure if you meant him or the situation.
Ni-ki smirked, leaning even closer, his lips brushing against your ear. "And you love it," he whispered, his voice sending a ripple of heat through your entire body.
You didnât deny it. In fact, you didnât have to.
"Iâm not sure this is a good idea," you admitted instead, but there was a part of you that wasnât sure if you were still trying to convince yourself or him.
Ni-kiâs grin grew wider, and he traced his thumb across your lips, almost teasing. "Good ideas are overrated," he said, his tone playful. "Besides, Iâve never been one to shy away from a little chaos."
You pulled back slightly, your breath catching as you tried to regain some semblance of control. "Our parents wouldnât like this," you said, the words slipping out before you could stop them.
Ni-ki's grin never faltered, and his eyes gleamed with mischief. "I never listened to my father," he said, the words casual, but you could hear the underlying truth in them. "And your mother? She has so many children to worry about. Whatâs one more mess to clean up?" He chuckled, the sound almost a challenge, as if daring you to argue with him.
Every logical thought you had was drowned out by his presence. You should have pulled away. You should have stopped this before it went any further.
But then Ni-ki was closer, so close that you could feel his breath on your skin, and all those thoughts faded into the background. You let him take that final step, let him kiss you again, as if the world outside didnât exist.
His lips were urgent, almost demanding, and you found yourself responding, giving in to the pull.
He had won. There was no turning back now.

STORMY NIGHT-RAFE CAMERON
đ¤đŚđđđđŁđŞ Rafe takes shelter in a remote cabin during a storm and unexpectedly finds it already occupied by you. Trapped together for the night, tensions run high as the storm outside mirrors the turmoil in Rafe's soul, leading to a surprising confession that changes everything.
-ËËâââââ
The storm hit fast and hard, catching you off guard as you trekked the wooded path toward the safety of your familyâs cabin. By the time you reached the door, rain had soaked through every layer of clothing, and the wind whipped against your skin like icy knives. With trembling hands, you fumbled for the spare key hidden under the loose floorboard of the porch.
Finally inside, you kicked off your boots, lit a few candles, and settled into the silence, broken only by the rumble of thunder. The storm would pass by morning, and for now, the isolation was comforting.
Until you heard the door slam.
Heart pounding, you reached for the fireplace poker and crept toward the sound. The faint flicker of candlelight cast shadows along the walls, playing tricks on your mind. Then you saw him, soaked to the bone, hair plastered to his forehead, his eyes wild and frantic.
"Rafe?" you whispered, lowering the poker but keeping your grip tight. "What the hell are you doing here?"
He leaned against the doorframe, panting. "I didnât know anyone was here." His voice was raspy, tinged with exhaustion. "Car broke down a mile back. Storm...itâs bad."
You hesitated, every instinct screaming to send him back into the rain. But something in his expression stopped you, an edge of vulnerability you hadnât seen before. With a sigh, you stepped aside. "Fine. But donât try anything."
Rafe snorted, a bitter laugh escaping his lips. "Yeah, sure. Like Iâd risk it." He peeled off his dripping jacket and tossed it over the back of a chair.
The two of you fell into an uneasy silence. Rafe hovered near the window, staring out into the storm as if he could will it away. You busied yourself making tea, anything to fill the oppressive quiet.
"Youâve got a nice setup here," he said finally, his voice softer than you expected. "Better than being stuck in the middle of nowhere."
"Why were you out here anyway?" you asked, handing him a steaming mug. "Doesnât seem like your scene."
Rafe took the tea but didnât drink it. Instead, he stared into the cup like it held all the answers to his problems. "Needed to clear my head," he said. "Things have been...complicated."
You raised an eyebrow. "Complicated? Thatâs one way to put it."
His jaw tightened, and for a moment, you thought he might snap back with one of his usual arrogant retorts. But when he spoke, his voice was raw. "You think I donât know what people say about me? What they think? They donât get it. None of them do."
You frowned, caught off guard by the sudden shift in tone. "Then tell me. What donât they get?"
Rafe laughed bitterly, shaking his head. "Doesnât matter. You wouldnât believe me anyway."
"Try me," you challenged, stepping closer.
He looked at you then, really looked at you, his blue eyes glassy with an emotion you couldnât quite place. For the first time, the cocky mask slipped away, leaving behind someone who looked lost.
"Iâve messed up," he admitted, barely above a whisper. "More times than I can count. But itâs not like I woke up one day and decided to be this way. Do you know what itâs like to never be enough? For your dad, your family, anyone? I tried, but it was never enough."
The words hung heavy in the air, the storm outside a distant roar compared to the storm raging within him. You didnât know what to say, what could you say? Rafe Cameron, of all people, standing here, pouring his heart out like this.
"You donât have to keep being that person," you said quietly. "The one everyone expects you to be."
Rafeâs lips twisted into a sad smile. "Easier said than done."
"Maybe," you agreed. "But youâre here now. That means something, doesnât it?"
He didnât answer, just stared at you with an intensity that made your chest ache. The storm outside raged on, but in that moment, it felt like the world had stopped. For once, Rafe wasnât the brash, reckless guy you thought you knew. He was just a boy, broken and trying to piece himself back together.
And maybe, just maybe, you could help.
The silence between you stretched on, filled only by the sound of rain pelting against the windows and the occasional crack of thunder. You werenât sure what to say next, but there was something in Rafeâs expression, something fragile, as if one wrong word could shatter whatever tenuous thread of trust had formed between you.
âWhy did you really come out here, Rafe?â you asked softly, leaning against the edge of the table. âDonât tell me it was just to clear your head.â
He hesitated, his fingers tightening around the mug. For a moment, it looked like he might retreat back into his usual defensive shell, but then he sighed, the weight of it seeming to deflate him entirely.
âI didnât know where else to go,â he admitted, his voice barely audible over the storm. âEverythingâs falling apart. My dadâs on my case, the Pogues are stirring up trouble again, andâŚI donât know. It feels like Iâm suffocating.â
His words hung in the air, raw and unfiltered. You wanted to hate him for everything heâd done, for the chaos he always seemed to bring with him, but it was hard to ignore the pain etched into his features. He wasnât just some reckless rich kid causing problems for fun. He was struggling, drowning in the weight of expectations, guilt, and whatever demons haunted him.
âI know Iâm a mess,â he continued, his voice cracking. âI know everyone sees me as some psycho who screws everything up. And maybe theyâre right. ButâŚâ He trailed off, shaking his head. âForget it. You wouldnât understand.â
You crossed your arms, frowning. âYou keep saying that. Like youâre the only person in the world whoâs ever felt this way.â
Rafeâs head snapped up, his eyes narrowing. âAnd what would you know about it?â
âMore than you think,â you shot back, your voice steady despite the way your heart raced. âYou think youâre the only one whoâs ever felt like they canât measure up? Like no matter what you do, itâs never enough? Newsflash, Rafe, youâre not special. Everyoneâs got their own crap to deal with. Yours just comes with a trust fund.â
He flinched, but instead of lashing out, he laughed, a low, humorless sound. âYouâve got guts, Iâll give you that.â
âIâm just telling you the truth,â you said, softening your tone. âYouâre not as alone as you think you are.â
Rafeâs gaze lingered on you, a mix of skepticism and something else, something that looked a lot like hope. He set the mug down and ran a hand through his damp hair, his movements slow and deliberate.
âYou really believe that?â he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
âI do,â you said firmly. âBut youâve got to start believing it, too. You canât keep running from everything, Rafe. Not forever.â
He stared at you for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Then, almost imperceptibly, he nodded. âMaybe youâre right,â he murmured, his voice so quiet you almost missed it.
The tension in the room seemed to ease, the air between you less charged. Rafe leaned back against the wall, his eyes drifting toward the window where the rain continued to pour. For the first time since heâd walked through the door, he looked calm. Or at least as calm as someone like Rafe Cameron could be.
âThanks,â he said suddenly, his voice breaking the silence. It wasnât much, but the sincerity in his tone made it feel significant.
You nodded, offering him a small smile. âAnytime.â
The storm outside raged on, but inside the cabin, it felt like the beginning of something different, a truce, maybe. Or a fragile connection that neither of you fully understood yet. Whatever it was, you had a feeling it wasnât the end of the story.
The storm continued to batter the cabin, but the tension between you and Rafe had softened, replaced by a quiet, unspoken understanding.
Rafe moved to sit on the worn couch, his shoulders slumping as if the weight of the world was finally starting to lift. You sat across from him in the armchair, the flickering candlelight casting shadows across his face. He looked different in this light, more human, more vulnerable.
âCan I ask you something?â you ventured, breaking the silence.
He glanced up, his blue eyes cautious but curious. âSure. Why not?â
âWhatâs the real reason you feel like youâre not enough? Is it just your dad, or is there more to it?â
Rafe let out a bitter laugh, leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees. âYou really want to dig into my screwed up psyche, huh?â
âIâm just trying to understand,â you said, your tone soft but firm. âYou donât have to tell me if you donât want to, but I think you want to. Even if itâs just to get it off your chest.â
He stared at the floor for a long moment, the candlelight reflecting off the strands of damp hair clinging to his forehead. When he finally spoke, his voice was low and filled with a quiet intensity.
âItâs not just my dad,â he admitted. âBut heâs a big part of it. Ward Cameronâs golden boy, right? Supposed to have it all figured out, supposed to carry on the family legacy. But no matter what I do, itâs never enough. He always finds something to criticize. Something to pick apart.â
He clenched his fists, the knuckles turning white. âAnd then thereâs Sarah. Everyone loves Sarah. Sheâs perfect, isnât she? The golden child, the one who can do no wrong. Meanwhile, Iâm the screw up. The one who ruins everything. People donât even bother to look past the surface, they just see the crazy, entitled Cameron kid whoâs too far gone to save.â
His voice cracked on the last word, and he exhaled sharply, running a hand over his face. âI donât know. Maybe theyâre right. Maybe I really am just broken.â
âStop,â you said firmly, leaning forward in your chair. âYouâre not broken, Rafe. Youâve made mistakes, yeah, but that doesnât mean youâre beyond saving. It doesnât mean you canât change.â
He looked at you then, his eyes filled with something raw and desperate. âAnd what if I canât? What if this is all Iâll ever be?â
âYouâre the only one who can decide that,â you said, holding his gaze. âBut youâve got to start by letting yourself believe that youâre worth more than what other people think of you. Your dad, the Pogues, anyone. They donât get to define you, Rafe. Only you do.â
For a moment, you thought he might argue, but then he nodded slowly, the tension in his shoulders easing just a fraction. âYou really think I can do it? That I can be better?â
âI wouldnât be saying all this if I didnât,â you replied with a small smile. âItâs not going to be easy, but yeah, I think you can. You just have to want it.â
Rafe leaned back against the couch, his expression contemplative. âMaybe I do,â he murmured, almost to himself. âMaybe Iâve been wanting it for a long time.â
The rain outside began to taper off, the storm losing its ferocity. The quiet that followed felt almost surreal, as if the world had been reset. You glanced at the window, noting the faint hint of dawn beginning to break through the clouds.
âItâs almost morning,â you said, your voice soft. âThe stormâs letting up.â
Rafe followed your gaze, his lips curving into a faint, almost shy smile. âYeah. Guess it is.â
For the first time, you saw a glimmer of something in him that you hadnât before, hope. It was small, fragile, but it was there. And as the first rays of sunlight broke through the clouds, you couldnât help but feel that maybe, just maybe, this was the start of something new for both of you.

SO DIM THAT SPOTLIGHTâŚ
for, Mâ maisie, or maybe even miya osamu; my twin, my superstar, and my biggest blessing.
inarizaki doesnât need memories, nor do they need to rely on their team manager; everything that matters happens in the court anyways. but, the week youâve disappeared from practiceâ they canât help but find themselves missing you.
fem!reader, atsumu kinda clingy, writeen on 0 hours of sleep, sum1 MIGHT be ooc⌠AESPA FANS RISE
inarizaki doesnât need their team manager. theyâre very adamant on their independence, especially atsumu. sure, itâs nice to be coddled after a long day of volleyball, but itâs merely a bonus! they donât rely on you, definitelyâŚ
âwhereâs s/o?â atsumu frowns, looking across the gym for you. âcoach said she had a family emergencyâŚâ kita says, a hint of worry in his voice. osamu tilted his head in worry. âfamily emergency? is something wrong?â
kita sighs. âcoach didnât give any further details.â to this, atsumu whined. âwhaat?! is she okay?!â he yelled out, going on a path that goes nowhere. âhe just said he didnât get any further detailsâŚâ suna deadpans.
âwell, we shouldnât dwell on it right now. next week is the inarizaki winter festival⌠weâve been instructed to create a promotional video with our most flashy moves as to get more people to support us during nationals.â kita explains.
atsumu rolls his eyes, hearing what a ridiculous idea it was. âsetting up a video⌠we already have a crowd full of fans⌠we should be practicingâŚâ he mumbles, not that anyone in particular cares to comment on.
âright⌠well, i think we should shoot atsumuâs shots first since heâs is the most popular after allâ kita says, preparing the camera while ginjima had set up the tripod. âjust⌠do a strong spike serve, okay?â he instructs as atsumu bounces the ball, preparing for his shot.
atsumu takes a deep breath, preparing for his shot; the look on his face so serious, youâd think he was in an official match. he throws the ball into the airâŚ
before miserably missing the shot.
the silence in the gym so thick, you could cut it with a knife. until osamu broke the tension with roaring laughter. âhah! what happened to being so perfect all the time?!â osamu points at him, laughing like a middle school bully. âshut your trap! i was just thinking âbout somethinâ!â atsumu yells back, angrily marching to retrieve his ball. âthinkinâ âbout what?! about how âya canât even serve properly cause your dear s/o is gone?!â osamu scoffs, not particularly set on admitting how much heâll miss your presence this week. still, he doesnât have much time to think about that before atsumu steers straight into osamuâs path. âyou..!â atsumu huffs, grabbing osamu by his shirt collar and wrestling him.
omimi runs in between the two of them, trying to break the fight as suna records the two, turning to kita. âmaybe thisâll make good promotional content, everyone loves to see these two fight...â and in response, kita can only sigh at sunaâs nonchalant attitude, pressing a palm to both of the boysâ chests. âfighting wonât do anything. stop it, please.â he says, unknowingly placing a somewhat hostile tone in his words, scaring the twins into backing off of each other.
despite whatever complaints the team had, the week passed by fairly quickly and soon enough, it was the inarizaki winter festival. there were snack carts, game booths, and of course, on one of the main screens, starred the boyâs volleyball team promotional video. and, exactly as kita said, it persuaded many girls to come support the team by the time nationals starts.
as the miyas inattentively chatted with the girls carrying fans with their names on it, both their eyes roamed the festival for an excuse to leaveâ when the stage announced a name they were all too familiar with.
âwhen is s/o returning? itâs already been a week, and she hasnât returned, much less answer any of our callsâŚâ kita asks, clearly worried for your wellbeing. coach kurosu canât help but let out a slight smile, waving off the boyâs concerns. âsheâs fine. in factâŚâ he trails off, turning to the stage.
confused, kita furrows his brow, and follows his gaze as to what he could mean.
âand, without further ado..! s/o from class 3-4, performing a solo cover of supernova by aespa!â
even from how scattered they were across the fair, they all froze, looking for each other as if to silently ask âis this real..?â. the lights slowly flashed onto you, as you sang the lyrics in what they could only think would be recognizable korean. hell, even if it was absolute nonsense, youâd still sound amazing.
your distinct and sharp dance moves were complimented by the cropped black tee and the baggy jeans you wore, making you look absolutely graceful as you danced. even the very fact that you were able to wear those kinds of clothes in the middle of december was commendable enough.
sparklers popped from the edges of the stage, as if you were at your very own solo concert, the lights dimmed to from white, to purple, to blue, as confetti streamed down. and when it came to an end, the audience roared in cheer.
you waved to everyone and bowed respectfully before running off the stage. the entire team was more than shocked to see that, âfamily emergencyâ, as if! almost every single one of then dropped what they had been previously doing and ran to the back of the stage, ready to praise you.
âs/o, that was incredible!â atsumu yelled, giving you a big hug before yelling at you. âwhyâdya leave us for a week?!â he huffed. âahaha⌠practice, of course! coach had to cover for meâŚâ you giggled, shivering a bit from how cold the snow was. âyou⌠donât wear revealing clothes in winter, youâll catch a coldâŚâ osamu sighed, wrapping his tracksuit around you.
kita went over to you, observing your condition. âiâm glad youâre well, s/o. i was starting to get worried when you wouldnât answer our calls. your performance was amazing.â he smiled. aran agreed, greeting you with a soft slap on your back. âyou did great! the way you did this..! and then suddenly you..!â he fumbles, imitating your dance moves.
it seems heâs exhilarated just by watching you performâŚ
and finally, suna makes it over to the backstage, giving you a thumbs up and a smile. âyou did great. i only recorded halfwayâŚâ he says disappointedly, looking over the clip he took. âpfft, thatâs okay, sunaâŚâ you shrug. âiâm really glad to be back with you guys, thoughâ you smile contentedly.
aran glared at you as if you dishonored his family, âwhat are you even talking about?! with moves like that, you shouldnât be stuck being a volleyball team manager; youâve gotta become an idol! in front of millions!â he encourages you, before atsumu argues back. âhaah?! like hell! sheâs gotta stay here with us!â
âitâs her life, she should have control over what she does in life.â kita says, in an attempt to mediate. sadly, his attempt falls on deaf ears as the two argue like a married couple bickering on their childâs future.
you laugh, missing the chaos in your life. âhahah⌠i donât think iâm gonna perform again anytime soon⌠it was terrifying, not to mentionâ so much effort. for now, i guess iâm stuck here with you guysâŚâ
that wouldnât be a problem though. not when itâs you.
inarizaki doesnât need the memories. cherishing the present is much better anyways. but, maybe it is pretty nice to have a team manager. especially when theyâre as talented as you.

âBut Dad, I Want a Baby Sister!â
pinâ
ref:
First daughter :Ruka Second son: Kashu Third son : Kitto
The warm glow of the evening sun spills across the dinner table, casting a cozy light over the family. Ruka is chatting excitedly about her day at school, Kashu is busy stealing glances at his sisterâs plate for extra helpings, and Kitto is just⌠thinking. Silent, almost ominously so, his face serious as he stares down at his fork. And then, out of nowhere, he looks up, big, bright eyes settling right on Kakashi.âDad,â Kitto begins, his little voice serious, âcan I have a baby sister?âKakashi, in the middle of chewing his rice, freezes. The world slows down as his brain scrambles to process the bomb his youngest just dropped.âA⌠a baby sister?â Kakashiâs voice comes out strangled, trying to keep his cool. âAre you⌠sure you want a sister? Threeâs a really nice number, you know. Three is, uh, perfect.âKittoâs eyes donât waver. âNope. I want a sister,â he says with total conviction. âEveryone in my class has one.âY/N, watching from her seat, stifles a laugh, eyes sparkling as she sees Kakashiâs internal panic mode begin to activate.---Operation: Avoidance BeginsKakashi puts down his fork, gathering himself. Alright, time to think. Heâs been on missions. Heâs survived battles. He can handle this.âKitto,â he begins carefully, âwhat about⌠a puppy? Puppies are just like little sistersâfluffy, cute, and they donât cry in the middle of the night!âKitto frowns, unimpressed. âA puppy wonât be able to play ninja with us.ââAhâŚâ Kakashiâs mind scrambles again. âWell⌠we could get two puppies?â He glances at Y/N, silently pleading for backup, but she only arches an eyebrow, smiling sweetly, thoroughly enjoying his suffering.---Escalating TacticsFor the next two days, Kakashi tries everything to keep Kittoâs mind off the idea. He comes home with new ninja toys, offers bedtime stories about really great trios, and even makes a chart of how âthree kids equals perfect balance.âYet, somehow, Kitto finds a way to keep bringing it up.One night, as Kakashi is tucking him into bed, Kitto gives him the puppy dog eyesâthe ones that no dad can resist.âBut, DadâŚâ Kitto says, voice small, eyes wide. âIâd take care of her. Iâd teach her all the best ninja moves. Iâll even share my room.âKakashi sighs, patting Kittoâs head. âWeâll⌠see, okay? Iâll think about it.â He glances over his shoulder, seeing Y/N leaning in the doorway, barely containing her laughter.âYeah, Dad,â she chimes in innocently. âMaybe thinking is the right idea.âKakashi sends her a look. Traitor.
Plot Twist: The Ultimate PrankA few days later,
The house was quiet, the kids were asleep, and Kakashi was finally sinking into the couch beside Y/N, ready for a rare, peaceful evening together. They were talking about everything and nothing, when suddenly, Y/N looked over, a mischievous glint in her eye.
âKashi,â she began, keeping her tone steady, âI have something to tell youâŚâ
He raised an eyebrow, sensing the shift in her tone. âOh?â
She took a deep breath, putting on her best poker face. âIâm⌠pregnant.â
Kakashi blinked, a slight smirk already tugging at the corner of his mouth. Pregnant, was she? Oh, he was onto her. But he wouldnât let her know that just yet.
âOh really?â he replied, voice as calm as ever. âThatâs⌠interesting.â He leaned forward, studying her face closely. âTell me, Y/N⌠when did you find out?â
Y/N almost broke then and there, but she held it together, barely. âJust recently,â she replied smoothly. âI, uh⌠wanted it to be a surprise.â
Kakashi nodded slowly, his eyes narrowing just slightly. âI see. And, youâre sure?â He crossed his arms, leaning back with that intense, shinobi stare, as if he were sizing up an enemy.
Y/N felt a bead of sweat form on her forehead. He wasnât reacting at all the way sheâd expected. âYes. Very sure.â
He paused, letting the silence hang between them. âI see. Well, if thatâs the caseâŚâ He let out a soft sigh, standing up and glancing toward the kidsâ rooms. âI guess weâll need to start preparing. A fourth will really add to the chaos, donât you think?â He looked back at her, expression unreadable.
âY-Yeah,â Y/N stammered, trying to keep the act going. âA fourth⌠just imagine!â
Kakashiâs smirk grew just a fraction. âOh, Iâm imagining it.â He moved closer, sitting down beside her, his voice dropping to a whisper. âIn fact⌠Iâm almost positive this is a surprise that someone⌠didnât think through completely.â
Her eyes widened, and she burst out laughing, covering her face as her prank completely crumbled. âAlright, alright, you got me! Youâre way too sharp for this!â
Kakashi laughed, pulling her close, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction. âNice try. But youâre talking to Kakashi Hatake. I donât scare that easy.â He grinned, holding her tighter. âBut I do appreciate the creativity. Donât worryâyouâll get whatâs coming to you for that one.â
She smiled, rolling her eyes. âI should have known better than to try and trick you.â
Kakashi chuckled, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead. âMaybe next time.â And as they sat there, he couldnât help but laugh, knowing that when it came to surprises, he was always one step ahead.

Demon Spawns
Damian Wayne x Powered!Fem!Reader
When yourâs and Damians future kids come to the present
A/N: Inspired by @cipheress-to-k-pop version of this. Please give me some feedback, itâs always appreciated :3
Word Count: 2500+
Warnings: mentions of a miscarriage, was lightly proofread and revised
Future
-Honestly, itâs not Marâiâs fault
-You needed someone to watch the twins as you and damian had to go away on a business trip for a few dayside hours hours and I
-Marâi eagerly accepted
-Yes, she knew she wasnât supposed to bring the twins to the cave but she didnât think this would happen
-The worst she expected was that they broke on of Timâs gadgets
-She didnât expect them to accidentally send themselves to the future
-You were going to kill her
-Marâi did the only thing she could think of at the moment, call her best friend, White Rabbit, aka Lian Harper, to help her get them back
Present
- You and Damian had been dating for a year already
-You really loved him
-After 3 years of knowing him and 2 months of dating, it was only a matter of time until you both found out about each other
-Damian being Robin didnât entirely surprise you, it just made a lot of sense
-The constant disappearing, the odd phone calls, the weird excuses
-At least he wasnât cheating (Damian would NEVER cheat)
-Growing up adopted you never knew your birth parents, just that they had to have been metas because you have powers
-You had powers like Kori and more, you even kind of looked like her
-People joked that you could have been her daughter before she came to Earth
-Those jokes make her uncomfortable
-You thought everything about her was interesting: sheâs heir to the thrown on Tamaran, her sister sold her, sheâs been married 4 other times, and even the fact that she 9 stomachs
-Today was a normal day at the Manor
-Everyone was just chilling in the BatCave
-Bruce and Tim were working on a case on the BatComputer
-To you, everything in the BatCave started with a âBatâ
-BatKeys
-BatSeat
-Your secret name for Alfred was Batler (Bat + Butler )
-Dick and Kori we flirting talking by the weapons
-And you were watching Damian train with Jason
-Watching Damian train was one of your favorite pastimes whenever you were in the cave
-Suddenly a bright light purple light flashed in the middle of the cave, right between Damian and Jason as they were jumping to attack each other,
-The light startled them, causing then the jump back
-All the heroes prepared themselves in a fighting stance
-Next thing everyone knew, two small babies, a girl and boy, were in the middle of the cave
-They looked like they could be twins, but you couldnât say for certain from where you were standing
- Everyone was surprised, two random babies just appeared out of nowhere
-âAye, Big Bat. Bet you donât have a protocol for this, do ya?â Jason says trying to break the silence
-The two babies looked around confused
-They couldnât be older than a 9 months
-Last they checked they were with Marâi in the BatCave, now they were in the BatCave with strangers they didnât recognize
-BOOM, waterworks
-âIâll go and get Alfredâ Tim said dashing up the stairs
-Everyone knew he was probably the least qualified to deal with children, mainly because heâs always sleep deprived
-Naturally the two most recent parents went and scooped one up
-âHow did they get here?â Dick asked rocking the girl in his arms
-They both calmed down a bit looking at the person holding them and back at each other and back at the adult
-They stopped crying, but were still fussing
-âWhile theyâre like this letâs get saliva for a DNA test to find out who their parents areâ
-Bruce took two swabs and collected saliva from each of the babies
-After, Dick and Kori passed the babies around to see if anyone could calm them down
-It wasnât until Bruce handed you the little boy that he stopped crying, cooing in your arms and little hands reaching for your face
-Jason stopped, looked at Damian, and questioned if it would be the best idea to hand a baby to him
-âIs handing Damian a crying baby the best idea?â
-âProbably not, but itâs the only idea we haveâ Dick responded
-Handing the baby girl to Damian, she looked at him and stopped fussing, smiling at the face in front of her
-âNever thought Iâd see the dayâ Jason chuckled
-âWhat do you think their names are?â Kori asked gaining everyoneâs attention
-âHow about we get in a circle, go in a circle calling out random names and see who they go toâ you spoke
-Everyone nodded and hummed in agreement
-You and Damian placed the babies on the floor jointing everyone else in the circle
-Before you could call the first name, a voice interrupted you
-âAfter this game, I believe you will be needed theseâ
-The voice belonging to none other than Alfred said
-Tim decided to join the circle at that point
-âThank youâ you called out
-Alfred gave you a small smile and nod before heading up the stairs
-You all started with your little game âName the Babeâ
-âMakaylaâ
-âIsaiahâ
-âNickâ
-âElizabethâ
-After 5 minutes of calling names and receiving no reaction from the babies, a ding
-It was from the BatComputer, signaling the results from the DNA test
-Dick and Kori
-Bruce opened the test and everyone had a face mixed with shock and confusion
-Under âFATHERâ was a picture of Damian
-âThe Demon spawn had a spawn.â
-Under âMOTHERâ was a question mark and underneath it was âmatch not foundâ
-You turned to Damian with a look a shock, confusion, and⌠betrayal and one that said âplease donât tell me you cheated on meâ
-Damian took a step towards you, and you took a step back
-You rushed up the stairs heading into the manor
-Damian rushed after you
-âThis makes no sense. Damian has only ever been with anyone other than YN and Ravenâ
-âAnd heâs not the type for random hookupsâ
-Bruce checked the database and noticed he didnât have yours or Ravens DNA in the system
-âKori contact Raven and have her come to the BatCaveâ
-âBart!â Tim shouted
-âWhat? Havenât you been paying attention, Damian is the father not Bartâ Jason retorted
-âI know that! But Bartâs from the future. Who says the babies canât be too?â
-Back in the manor, Damian was looking all over for you
-Your car was still parked in front, so you were somewhere in the manor
-Fifteen minutes later Damian found you on his bed, facing the window, looking at the garden
-Youâve always loved how Damianâs room faced the garden
-He slowly walks towards you until heâs also on the bed
-âBeloved-â
-âI was pregnantâ
-âWhat? When?â
-âFour months ago. I lost the baby early on, I didnât even know until I went to the ER. I thought it was food poisoning from that Thai place I went to with Steph and Cass, but they told me I had a miscarriage. I was 3 weeksâ
-âWhy didnât you tell me?â
-âI didnât know how and I was somewhat relieved. I always told myself Iâd wait until I was married to have kids. Also we canât raise a kid now Dami. Weâre only 21 and you work in a dangerous field.â
-You put your foreheads together, caressing his cheek with your hand
-Damian just wrapped his arms around you, pulling you down, forcing you to lay with him and you accepted his embrace
-âTodd messaged meâ
-âWhat did he sayâ
-âTim come to the conclusion that the babies most likely came from the future and father doesnât have yours or Ravenâs DNA is the system, Raven is on her way so they can run the test againâ
-âAnd if theyâre not mineâ
-âLetâs not worry about that right nowâ
-After an hour of silence and Damian just holding you, you both make your way back to the BatCave hand in hand
-Raven, and even some League members, are now there too
-âCan I see the little onesâ Diana asked with a smile on her face
-She has always had a soft spot for children
-âCareful. She just ateâ Kori informed her, handing Baby Girl over
-While you and Damian were gone, Tim made the executive decision to call them Baby Girl and Baby Boy until the mother was determined
-âAwww, so preciousâ
-The Themyscrian rocking the small baby in her arms
-Baby Girl soon became fussy, most likely from Dianaâs cuffs
-Diana handed the baby off to Raven
-It made sense
-We were here to see if you or Raven would be their mother (yk that motherly connection)
-Once Baby Girl was in Ravens arms she quickly calmed down, almost as quickly as she did with Damian
-You didnât show it, but you felt a pang in your heart
-Damian just squeezed your hand lightly but you couldnât take your eyes off Raven and Baby Girl
-Bruce spoke up, breaking you out of your trance
-âI need both of you to get a good saliva swabâ
-You and Raven both did as told
-âHere. My arms are getting numbâ Dick says handing Baby Boy to you
-You smile at the tiny human in your arms
-After 10 of waiting, a BatComputer dinged
-Bruce went to open the results
-Damian standing right behind him, and you and Raven on each side of him
-On the screen where a picture of the babies
-When did they take that picture?
-The babies were at the bottom middle and above them was the same picture of Damian as earlier and under âMOTHERâ was a picture ofâŚ
-You
-WAIT! How did they get that picture?
-You were too happy to question that
-âHappy to say that Baby Girl and Baby Boy are Y/Nâs and Damianâs â
-âThank Azarathâ
-You laughed at Raven, she pulls you into a hug
-âThese babies are so adorable but I donât think Iâm cut out to be a mother. Iâll gladly babysit thoughâ
-âWait. You guys have been calling them Baby Girl and Baby Boy?â
-No one other than Wally West would ask that question
-âCome one. You can think of something better to call themâ
-Before you could say something, Damian stepped in
-âActually we already know their namesâ
-You smiled
-You handed Baby Boy to Damian
-âThis is Soren Jackson Wayneâ
-âJackson after Drakeâ
-You walked over to Raven, who was holding a sleeping Baby Girl, and picked her up
-âAnd my gorgeous daughter. You are Jaylena Mariah Wayne. Jaylena inspired after Jason but means blue crested bird aka Nightwing. For that time you both saved meâ
-You and Damian make eye contact not breaking it even when the others spoke
-Dick and Jason both smiled
-Jason punched Royâs side
-âSee that. Demon spawn named his spawn after meâ
-âDonât worry father we plan on naming the next ones after your mother and fatherâ
-You looked away quickly,
-Bruce had a shocked look on his face
-âThereâs going to be more?!â
-Jason could already see it: A demon army
-Suddenly another bright light flashed in the middle of the BatCave
-Everyone but you and Damian had a fight stance ready
-Bruce and Dick stood in front of you and Damian
-Two people now stood in the middle of the BatCave, they looked like vigilantes
-One was dressed in all white, with a matching white masked with bunny ears falling along her wavy ginger hair
-The other, well anyone could tell who she was
-Marâi Grayson
-âHi mom. Hi daddyâ
-The girl in all white removed her mask as she walked towards Roy giving him a big hug
-âHi dadâ
-It was obvious to say that Dick, Kori, and Roy were baffled
-It wasnât even a few hours ago they saw their daughters in the care of Barry and Iris, playing along with the other superhero kids
-Now they were teenagers, vigilantes at that too
-MarâI was walking towards you with a pleading look
-âSisâ
-Sis?
-MarâI never called you sis
-She always called you this funny tamaranean name she heard from Kori, itâs supposed to be a pretty flower but dangerous or something
-âI am so so so so so sorryyyyy. I know you told me not to bring them to the BatCave by myself but it was only for a minute to get something. I didnât think they would get sent to the past. I put Sor and Lena down for a second then boom theyâre gone. Please donât kill meâ
-She turns to Kori and Dick
-âPlease donât ground meâ
-You step towards her
-âI can tell you didnât want this to happen and I know my future self will probably get on you for this. So just please, please get my babies home safelyâ
-Marâi nodded eagerly as you handed her Jaylena
-âI promise. I really don't want to be on the LoAâs bad sideâ she chuckles
-Damian looked slightly confused at the remark
-He gave Soren to Lian, staring her down with a look that says âdrop or hurt my son, Iâll hurt youâ
-âDaaaadddâ
-âStop scaring my daughter Damianâ
-âTtâ
-âAnyways⌠Congrats on yourâŚnevermindâ Marâi stops when she noticed your promise ring that Damian gave you
-Soren looks at Marâi, reaching for her but found it no use when Lian wouldnât let him
-He looked upset
-As he started fussing a blue power orb slowly started to form about a foot above him
-Thinking of only your kids safety, you quickly absorbed the energy
-âOur kids have powers?â Damian asked in shock
-Naturally you were in shock too
-You barely knew the full extent of your powers compared to other metas your age, and now at least one of your kids will have them too
-âAt the moment only Soren does. He uhm⌠does that sometimes. So far it only happens when heâs mad or extremely fussy.â
-Lianâs watch starts beeping
-Before she can even open her mouth Marâi talks
-âWe really have to go nowâ
-Damian walks up next to you, placing a hand on your waist
-âBye Uncle D. Bye bye sisâ
-Again with the sis?
-You and Damian give a small wave goodbye
-Just like that, with a flash, theyâre gone
-Everyone goes their respective ways
-Tears start to well in your eyes when itâs just you and Damian in the BatCave
-âLetâs go to bed, Beloved. Itâs been a long dayâ
-You follow him to his room and you both go to sleep
-That night you dream about your future with Damian, Jaylena, and Soren
Back to the Future(hehehe see what i did there)
-âGreat! Theyâre still sleeping. We can get them to bed before Y/N and Damian get homeâ
-Marâi was ready for this day to be over
-She knew she would get hell from you and Damian for what happened
-âOh. Weâre home. What happened?â
-Hearing your voice, Lian took that as her que to hand Soren over to Damian and hop out
-Marâi turns around to see you and Damian dropped head to toe in LoA attire
-âUncle D. Sis. Back already?â
-Damian walks over to Marâi also taking Jaylena in his arms
-He walks over to you, with both twins in his arms, placing a kiss on your temple
-âIâll put them to bed while you deal with Marâiâ
-With that DamiĂĄn walks up the stairs into the manor
-âBefore you blow a fuse, I know I shouldnât have brought the twins to the Cave but I had no choice. I couldnât leave them upstairs by themselves. As soon as they flashed to the past I immediately got help to go get them. And I almost ruined your proposal surprise but i didnât so thatâs something. I promise this will never ever EVER happen againâ
-âGo homeâ
-âWhat?â
-âGo home. Itâs late and weâre all tired. Weâll talk tomorrowâ
-âOh okâ
-You retire to yours and Damianâs shared bedroom as Marâi leaves
-âWhat did you tell herâ
-âTo go home and weâll talk tomorrow. You know she almost ruined your proposalâ
-âNot surprisedâ
-You slip into bed, cuddling up next to Damian, head on his shoulder and his arm wrapped around your waist
-You bring your left hand up admiring your engagement and wedding rings
-âIt was a great proposalâ
-âDamn right it wasâ
-You chuckled
-You look up at a sleeping Damian, admiring the man he grew to be
-Physically heâs always been attractive, but he grew mentally and emotionally
-He wasnât the same boy who entered the manor when he was 10, emotionally and mentally detached from everyone, doors and windows shut to everyone, stubborn as a mule
- Actually, Damian will always be stubborn
- You both grew to care deeply for each other
⌠after writing for about 15-20 minutes I decided I wanted to make a part 2 but of the proposalâŚđ
I kinda want to make another version, the kid is like a teen. Should I???
Should I write why Marâi called the reader âsisâ?? Wouldnt yâall like to know? Do you have any ideas?

Pretty Eyes
Pairing: Tommy Shelby x Fem!Reader Word Count: 1.8k Warning: None A/n: Well, itâs been a hot minute, but I really just had an urge to write again. Sorry if this sucks, it's my first piece since trying to get over my writer's block but I feel pretty good about it.
All it took was a drunken compliment for Tommy Shelby to change his mind about his opinion on love and all it took was the help of one fortune teller to realise he couldnât never lose that love.
Tommy believed he was man that couldnât be loved, he believed that he didnât deserve someone that would cherish him, but you made it your mission to change his mind. You had met Tommy not long after he returned from the war, you applied for the position of his secretary, and he couldnât refuse once he saw your skills with a typewriter. You of course immediately thought he was a very attractive man, it was undeniable, but youâd be a fool not to notice his cold exterior. After months of working for Tommy, you had tried to get closer to Tommy, the furthest you had got was he now accepted you calling him âTommyâ instead of âMr Shelbyâ, but it was extremely hard to break through the walls he had put up. It wasnât until one night after work at the Garrison that you finally broke down a wall.
âTommy!â You heard Arthur call out to his brother as he entered the bar, you were sat next to John in the private while Arthur had gone out to get the table more drink, stated that he wanted to stretch his legs. You had already had a few and were a bit tipsy so it wasnât surprising that you got up at the sound of his name. You made your way over to the bar where Tommy and Arthur were ordering drinks.
âLet me buy you a drink bossâ You offered as you stood in the middle of them, Tommy took in your slightly of balance form and smiled slightly.
âYou know I own the place y/n, if anything I should get you a drink, but I donât think it's wiseâ.
âDonât ruin her fun Tomâ Arthur slurred from the other side of you.
âNo Arthur, Tommyâs rightâ you started, placing a hand on Arthurâs shoulder to steady yourself âI should get home, we have to work tomorrow after all. Tommy watched as you gave Arthur a soft pat on the shoulder before attempting to walked back to the private both to collect your coat and bag. Tommy sighed before throwing back the rest of his drink and putting his coat back on.
âNight Arthurâ was all he said before he made his way over to you, he grabbed your coat and draped it over your shoulders. You could feel the heat rise to your cheeks at the gesture, but you knew he wouldnât notice as your cheeks were already flushed from the alcohol you had consumed previously. You waved goodbye to everyone before leaving the bar with Tommyâs hand firmly secured on your lower back.
The walk back to your flat felt painfully slow but you had also never felt safer than you did with Tommy next to you, you would often catch him watching the shadows and alleyways. Before long you reached your flat, you fumbled through you bag to try and find your keys, but they were nowhere to be found. You let out a groaned as you gave up.
âI can't find my keysâ Out of frustration your eyes started to well up, you had finally gotten Tommy back to your flat, but you couldnât find your damn keys. You heard Tommy let out a soft chuckle and before you could turn around and cuss him out for laughing at you, he reached around you and into your bag, pulling out your keys.
âOhâŚâ You stared at them for a moment before grabbing them âFound them!â You cheered, earning another chuckle from Tommy, he was finding this whole display quite amusing. You finally got the key in the lock and opened the door, throwing your coat on the ground as soon as you entered.
âWhereâs your room?â Tommy asked casually, this took you by surprise.
âBeing very forward arenât we Tommy?â You turned to face him, maybe a bit too quicky causing you to become quite dizzy. Tommy smiled and leaned down so his face was only inches from yours, you very quickly forgot how to breathe.
âSo I can put you to bedâ he explained, bringing you back to your senses.
âOh right, of courseâ You quickly turned back around again, making you dizzy once again, this time you stumbled slightly but Tommy quickly caught you, holding you by your shoulders. âDown the hall to the leftâ
Tommy guided you down the hall and into your bedroom, the first thing he noticed was hour empty it was, it only held and bed and a dresser with a chipped mirror sitting atop it. He knew you didnât live in luxury, neither did he but he expected more maybe more photos or perhaps more plants, he wasnât sure. He guided you to your bed and helped you sit down on the edge.
âWhere to you keep your night dresses?â He asked, you pointed to your dresser, and he made his way over there.
âTop drawâ You quietly called out, now starting to realise the extent of you situation. Tommy grabbed a garment from the top draw and brought it over to you, you took it from him and looked up to see he had turned his back. You got up slowly and started to undress, highly aware of the gorgeous man starting only a few steps away from you. You pulled on your nightwear and looked over at Tommy.
âYou can look nowâ He turned and found you trying to pull the covers of you bed down to get in, but you were struggling. He came over and pulled them up for you, allowing you to slip in underneath them, once you were in, he pulled them back up and pretty much tucked you in, you watched him with hooded eyes the whole time.
âYou have very pretty eyesâ You whispered before your eyes fluttered shut, before you were fully asleep, you felt a slight pressure on your forehead, making you scrunch your face up slightly in response. Tommy smiled seeing your reacted to the kiss he placed on your forehead, he stood there of a moment processing what you had just said to him. He watched as you drifted off to sleep, peaceful and oblivious to the way you just made him feel. He hadnât been complimented on his eyes for a long time, the only and last person to compliment them was his mother. She always loved his eyes and as a boy he hated it, no young boy wants to be called pretty and he would always complain when she brought them up but after he lost her, he found himself longing to hear her say it. but instead, it was you, a persistent woman who he knew had been trying to find a way into his life, he swore he wouldnât let you; he didnât want the world he lived in to ruin you, but maybe he needed you to fit it, maybe he needed you to fix him.
That night was six years ago, five years ago Tommy asked you to be his wife and not long after you were married, you fell pregnant with your first child Charlie, then nearly two years ago you fell pregnant with your second child, your daughter Anna. You never knew the moment Tommy Shelby fell in love with you, you had asked a few times but he usually just shrugged it off, you had always wondered why, it wasnât until your wedding night that he told you it was when you called his eyes pretty, you were baffled because you didnât remember telling him that but then he told you the story and you had never felt more shame but you also never knew the impact those five small words had on Tommy. One night while the two of were getting ready for bed he suddenly spoke.
âDo you know the moment I realised I couldnât live without you?â The question took you by surprise.
âWhen I told you your eyes were pretty?â You asked, looking at him in the mirror as you brushed your hair.
âNo, thatâs when I realised I loved you, Iâm talking about when I realised my world revolved around you and I vowed to myself to never lose youâ He explained as he came up behind you, nuzzling his head into your neck, his wet hair from his bath brushing your cheek.
âNo?â you didnât quite know what to say. He lifted his head from you neck, meeting your eyes in the mirror.
âI went to see a fortune tellerâ he said simply.
âYou did what?â you spun around it your seat to face him, he smiled and grabbed your face in his hands, looking down at you.
âA friend of Pollyâs, it was not long after Anna was born, some lowlife gangster had threatened your life and I was having second thoughts on if I was doing the right thing, putting you in danger by loving you and I just needed any kind of advice, I donât know why I went to her, but I didâ He explained.
âWhat did she say?â you asked, still looking up at him.
âIf I told you that your life was supposed to turn out differently, to change, would you want it to?â
In that moment Tommy saw you, lying in his arms, looking at him with that look of adoration that you only reserve for him, then he thinks of his children, the ones you blessed him with, the way his son smiles at him, how he sees his father as a normal man and not a monster and his precious daughter, how she lights up whenever he is around her, how she cries to him when sheâs upset, knowing that her father will always protect her from her fears.
âNoâ was all Tommy said.
âThat is why I wonât read your fortune, there is no point. Youâre where youâre supposed to be already, youâre a troubled man and you canât lose what keeps you groundedâ.
Tommy knew she was right, he was scared to lose you but if he pushed you away, heâd lose you anyway, your safest place was with him, he belonged with you and he wasnât going to let anyone change that, not even himself.
âSheâs a wise womanâ You joked, smiling up at him.
âOf course you would think that loveâ Tommy leaned down, placing a kiss on your forehead before heading over to bed. You finished brushing your hair and joined him.
âI want you to feel safeâ You lifted you head from its resting place on his chest and rested your chin there instead, looking up at him.
âI am safe with youâ You whispered, looking into those pretty eyes your adored so much.

- he sure as hell does everything he can to help anyone and everyone get things where they were before.
-he reunites with the Justice League and force them to help in any way possible
-they agree
-heâs so sweet I love him.
SHAZAM AND JOHN CONSTINTINE
-Billy batson DID NOT survive the thanos snapâŚ
-shazam on the other hand DID!
-Billy was starting to vanish and in a panic yelled âSHAZAMâ
-no more vanishing!
-5 YEARS HE WAS STUCK IN THE ADULT BODYâŚ
- boy was terrified to say shazam again..
- to his luck Constantine had survived, and begged him to put a spell on him that made him unable to speak ďżźthe word shazam so he could never turn back on accident.
-John allowed Billy to come back with him to the house of mystery, after all, Billy was technically a magic user
- the world of magic technically had nothing to do with earth and the snap so Billy came in handy when it came to Constantineâs deals and quarrels ďżźwith demons.
- Constantine saw the snap as natural selection and was okay with it.
- until he found that ďżźzatanna had been on earth and did not survive the snap.
- he drank a lot after that.
- five years later ďżźBilly got the spell removed and was able to BE Billy again
- Billy was over joyed at seeing everyone again.
-Constantine was⌠well ..Constantine.
STATIC SHOCK
-Virgil Hawkins DID SURVIVE the thanos snap!
- Virgil was lucky asf in this case bc the power/electricity was def not 100% working
-Virgil was going around using his energy to provide light to homes, power to hospitals ect,
-believe it or not he chose to stay on his own during the blip.
- he figured it would be better not to get attached when the chabce of survival was now somewhat lower
-didnât even try to contact anyone
-(boy didnât wanna face the facts on who he would never see again)
-at year four he kinda gave up and ended up somewhere in bloodhaven.
- a part of him was praying that Barry Allen was alive and would (selfishly) turn back time
- when everyone came back? He was kinda angry?
-he lowk was mad that everyone had to suffer through those 5 years and the blipped ones didnât.
- he found nightwing (he was blipped aka DID NOT survive the snap) and tried to pick a fight with him for being so joyful during all this (granted he didnât know-).
- he understood it wasnât the worlds fault tho and just tired to do his best with helping explain to everyone what had happened.
- (at the end of the day heâs just a teenager )
- he took some time to re adjust to everyone being back. But eventually found peace
SELINA AND DUKE
-selina Kyle and duke thomas DID both survive the thanos snap!!
-they were with eachother on a bat fam mission when all of a sudden *POOF* they were all gone except for duke, Selina, Kate and Damian
-Kate and Damian almost immediately went their separate ways without notice
- Selina didnât panic, in fact she was pretty calm with all of this
-Thomas on the other hand.. HE WAS A MESS
- full panic mode on his part
- after a little calming down they went to Wayne manor to find nobody theyâre either.
- they stuck together travelling to metropolis to once again find nobody except for Lois lane who did survive.
- they all co existed together (lot easier to live there than gotham without the bat so)
- when they came back DUKE WAS SO HAPPY he cried .
-Selina was calm as always as they made their way back to gotham where ALL HELL WAS BREAKING LOOSE ON THE STREETS
- people were so confused
- everyone went back to Wayne manor (dick, Tim, Steph, babs and the rest of the blipped batfam) to find Cissie , Jason, and Roy living there and those three were SHOCKED.
- âawh man now we gotta move out!!â
- big family reunion for the batfam đ

YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL
pairing: fiancĂŠ!hyunjin x fem!reader
genre: comfort, fluff, a little suggestive in the end
warnings: insecurities, problems with food & feeling guilty after, swear words
a/n: hii, iâve never written abt hyunjin so i hope i did well! iâm sorry i didnât post in so long iâve just been struggling a lot lately and i couldnât find the energy + this was written at 1 am sorry if smth doesnât make sense (not proofread yet) đ also please read the note at the end, itâs very important
ᯤ now playing: young and beautiful by lana del rey
â ěě
your body started panicking as you felt everyoneâs eyes on you. you looked around the room, trying to figure out the reason. was it your makeup? or did you eat too much? your dress probably looked horrible on you too. it was all of them, maybe. you started to walk, looking for you fiancĂŠ, hyunjin, who was nowhere to be found. he had left you alone in the middle of the party with all those unknown people.
as you moved you heard a group of people calling your name ây/n! come hereâ ây/n, come talk with usâ ây/n!â ây/n!â you tried to escape but suddenly one of your old friends caught your wrist and made you approve her and her husband.
âwow, you look really differentâ she said âdid you gain weight?â she asked as if that wouldnât hurt you âyeah, i guessâŚâ you whispered trying not to cry. it was the third time they said this to you tonight and you were started to get anxious. why did they only look at your body? why couldnât they talk about your success?
âoh, thatâs good too eh! i didnât mean it in a bad wayâ she tried to fix it, but you were already overthinking. you didnât want her to pity you. âlook, i really have to go, it was nice to see you, byeâ you answered quickly as you ran away, trying to look for hyunjin.
when you finally found him, you sighed in relieve and ran to him. thank god he was alone, you wouldnât be able to bear with any other comment about you. as you ran, he looked at you, confused by your worried eyes and desperate speed to get to him. âwhatâs wrong, my love?â he asked gently, trying to calm you down. he knew something was off as soon as he saw you. âletâs go homeâ you whispered as you clung onto him.
âwhy?â he waited for an answer but it didnât come. you didnât want to explain yet, because you knew if you talked, your eyes would fill up with tears and youâd start to cry desperately. âletâs just go, please, hyunjinâ your cracked voice told him everything he needed to go home. thatâs when he decided to say goodbye to some people near him and he ran with you to the car. he quickly started driving without any words.
you felt bad because you knew he was really excited to come to this party, and you made him go home for a stupid reason. it had been 10 minutes in the car and you were still far from home. the way he didnât say a word made you feel terrible, was he angry? did he really get mad at you? it wasnât your fault. or was it? did you exaggerate it too much?
âiâm sorry i ruined your nightâ you whispered, trying to stop yourself from breaking down in front of him. ďżź
âruin my night?â he asked gently, which surprised you âyeah-â you tried to continue âyou didnât ruin my night, if youâre uncomfortable then i have to take care of you, and you didnât seem very happy. it was getting boring, anyway.â he stated as be continued to drive. a single read fell down your cheek but you wiped it as soon as you noticed it. you couldnât let him see you in that state. âthank youâŚâ
you spent the rest of the drive home silent, and when you got to your place you ran to your bedroom as fast as you could, leaving him confused in the entrance, though he followed you seconds later. when you got to you room you almost immediately broke down, falling on the bed and letting your tears fall continuously without thinking that your boyfriend may hear you. you really didnât want him to know, really, but you couldnât help being loud while remembering all those things everyone said to you hours before. after all you went through, every meal you didnât eat, every tear, every time you yelled at someone because they wanted you to eat, every time you fainted, all that for nothing at all? you suffered so much, you really thought you got better but they made it look as it was nothing with all the anger and sadness you felt with their comments.
you felt his hands grab your waist and try to turn you around for you to look at him, but you refused to let him see your red eyes. âbaby, please talk to meâ he said gently while he rubbed your back. you finally acceded, but you hid your face on the crook of his neck. âloveâŚâ he started, but he didnât get to finish the sentence because you cut him off âwhy do they always have to comment on my body as if i donât see myself in the mirror every fucking dayâ he separated you from his body so he could look at you. your eyes connected and his showed his worry and care.
âwhat did they say?â he asked as he brought to back into his chest. you didnât answer, letting your sobs be heard ây/n, what did they say?â he questioned again, while he patted your hair âthey said i looked worse, they said i gained weightâŚâ you whispered with embarrassment âeveryoneâs eyes were on me, hyunjin, everyone was staring at how bad i lookedâ he was about to let his jaw fall to the floor but he stopped himself as it wasnât what you needed right now. he was so shocked, because in his eyes you were more than beautiful. how could someone think that dress looked bad on you? god, he almost died when he saw you in that gorgeous black dress.
âbad? you looked stunning, y/nâ he answered, speechless at how you talked about yourself âyouâre saying that becauseââ he cut you off as you did before âiâm saying that because thatâs how it is, iâd say that if we were friends, strangers or even enemies, because you looked like a work of art. you always do.â he answered sweetly. your sobs where barely audible now as you has calmed yourself hearing his voice. now all that was left was your breathing. you looked at him with a smile, still with puffy eyes and hugged him again. âthank youâŚâ you muttered âitâs fine, darling, you donât have to thank meâ hyunjin promised
âi was scared i would have to go through everything againâ you justified yourself, but it wasnât necessary now. âshh, you wonât, not as long as iâm here. donât ever say that about yourself again, mhm, beautiful?â he kissed your forehead and continued âgod, i donât know how anyone could ever think that way about you, i almost couldnât control myself when i saw youâ he said, making you blush and you hit him lightly âshut up, dumbassâ you said, still hiccuping from the intense crying but laughing, and he did the same.
he put you into the bed an caressed your hair until you felt tired and wanted to sleep. you had wasted too much energy already, you felt so exhausted. âprincess, if someone every says anything like that to you again, tell me and iâll make sure they never say that againâ he whispered.
âi love youâ
âŚ
âi love you more.
â
A/N: hello so, i wanted to talk about the struggles with food as someone whoâs had an eating disorder for six years. if any of you struggles with food, please look for help. remember that food helps us, without food weâd be dead. you need to eat, itâs necessary. please donât give a fuck about other peoples opinion, because they donât know the real you, and they donât know whatâs really going on. to stop eating is bad in so many ways, your health will worsen, you as a person will change and you will lose people. iâm talking from experience, with my ed i lost a lot of friends, i fought with everyone and i was always in a bad mood.
throughout my life i have been judged by everyone because of my body and valued without thinking about my personality, my intelligence or my maturity. some people only care about your looks, thatâs true, but you mustnât be embarrassed for the body you have, because good people will know youâre worth much more than just what they see. youâre not your body, youâre your favorite song, your favorite film, that melody you sing in your head when youâre bored, youâre that quote in a book you once read and never forgot of. youâre that time you helped someone who needed it, that sunrise you once saw, your favorite clothes. youâre your favorite flavor, your favorite season, your favorite singer, your favorite color. you are what you like, not how you look like. so please, eat what you crave and donât restrict any foods. i love you for who you are. and if youâre struggling, my dmâs are always open, donât be scared to ask for help. i love you, unconditionally.

Trolls Au Kinda??
So i had an idea of a story that makes JD, Bruce, Clay and Floyd better bros kinda??
So my thought is that on the night the band broke up, the boys all left, but while they were gone, baby Branch and Grandma Rosiepuff got found by a bergen and then taken and placed in the the Trollstice tree.
In my opinion, Branch and Rosiepuff being added to the tree and Brozone not already being there makes sense, cuz if they were already there, then how the fuck did they leave?
Anyway, then the brothers actually come back in the morning, regretful of how they acted, only to see no Branch or Grandma. They spend a few years trying to find where theyve gone and not checking Bergen Town to avoid being caught and also hoping that they just weren't there. Finally they check but at that point everyone is gone. So it takes even more years to track down the elusive Pop troll Village, because its in the middle of nowhere. But it took so long, that by the time it was found, only John Dory found it in determination to save Floyd, while the Clay and Bruce moved on. And then Trolls 3 happens.
I like this idea a fuckin lot cuz it makes the bros more forgivable(though i like that too).
If anyone wants to do something with this, pleaseee do! I'm gonna draw it maybe soon, but if you wanna draw it or write a fanfic with it, go ahead!! Just give me credit lol.

iâve loved you for forever
summary: Harry attends his best friends wedding, only to end up running away with the bride.
warnings: angst & fluff
wc: 3k
inspired by anon. thank you so much for the inspiration. đ
Harry stood behind the door of the bridal suite picking at his fingers in anticipation. Y/N was getting married today. His best friend since he was sixteen was finally getting her happily ever after. He recalls when he used to sneak out of the house as a teenager to go next door to hers, and talk in the treehouse she had. Â
They used to speak in hushed whispers trying to be as quiet as possible, so they wouldnât get caught. They talked about their futureâs, and everything in between. Flash forward more than ten years later, and she was finally getting everything she had dreamed of. So knowing that her dreams are finally coming true, why couldnât Harry find one part inside him that was happy for this special day? Itâs actually wasnât even a question for him. He knew exactly why.
He was head over heels in love with her.
It wasnât a feeling that randomly sprung up out of jealousy of her being with someone that wasnât him; no he knew since the tender age of sixteen that he was in love with her. When Y/N moved to the neighborhood is when their story started.Â
The street they lived on was mainly filled with people in the middle-ages part of their lives. So, when Harry caught word from his mother that a family had moved in next door with a daughter his age he was overjoyed. Â He devised a plan to go over there and introduce himself.Â
Harry and his mother walked over, and greeted Y/Nâs family; but the girl his age was nowhere in sight. It was only when a loud crash came from upstairs starting the house, Y/N made her appearance. When Harry glanced at the clumsy girl at the top of the stairs whose cheeks were blushed with embarrassment he was gone for her. He wasnât sure that he believed in love at first sight, but he knew that he was going to stop at nothing to get to know her better.Â
After their introduction, everything just started to fall into place for him. Harry would try to leave his window open to hear what kind of music she had blasting from her room; so that the next time he saw her they would have something to talk about. Or how he would try to find any excuse to go over to their house.
Whether it be to ask for an ingredient that was already in his house or make up a lie that he forgot his key and his mom was at work; he just did what he had to do to get any chance to talk to her. It worked. Slowly but surely, Harry and Y/N became two peas in a pod.Â
Everyone in their neighborhood and at school recognized them as a pair only. If you were searching for one they were for sure with the other. If you saw one of them missing the other would get questioned about where the missing link was. Not only were they the best of friends, but they were the first everything to each other. Both of them trusted each other more than they did anyone else in the world. So, it was only natural that one day while they were studying in Harryâs room Y/N spoke up to him.Â
âHarry, have you ever kissed someone?â
âOf course, loads of people.â
âYouâre forgetting I know you better than I know myself, liar.âÂ
âFine, Iâm caught. Have you kissed someone?â
âNo, I donât trust anyone.â
âDo you trust me?â
âWith my life.â
âSo, would you kiss someone you trusted just to get it over with?â
âStop asking me questions you goofball, and kiss me.â
That was only the start of the way their relationship shifted in a way there was no turning back for him. For the rest of their schooling, they acted like a couple without ever defining what it was. Of course, it wasnât something that Harry liked. He fucking hated it, but at the time he thought it was better to keep it that way. He thought that if they put a label on it, and they broke up he would lose her as a best friend.
Time passed and they remained as close as ever, but once they graduated from school, Harry and Y/N moved to different universities. The distance never made him stray away from his feelings for her, once they both had winter break he decided that he would tell her over the holidays. His plan was put on to a halt when Y/N showed up with a boyfriend.
It was obvious that she didnât carry the same feelings as him, so he moved on. Just because he forced himself to move on doesnât mean the feelings were resolved. If anything it was worst for him because with each girlfriend he had, he found himself subconsciously comparing each new partner to Y/N. Self-sabotage some might call it. So, now he was in his late twenties, single, and watching the love of his life get married.Â
Harry had many regrets in his life, but one that haunted him was the fact that he never gave them the proper chance. He was young and foolish, but still left with the same feelings he had at sixteen.Â
âAre you ready to see her?â A voice spoke out making Harry shoot his head up getting out of his head. Y/Nâs older sister was peeking out the door looking at Harry whose face that was pale.Â
âYeah,â Harry let out feeling his voice shake. This was going to be his first look. Y/N refused to let him see her in her dress before the big day. Even when he asked why she didnât allow him to go dress shopping with her, she never did answer him. Walking through the door, Y/Nâs sister pointed in the direction of where she was then left the room. Harry just let his feet carry him instead of thinking with his head. As soon as he walked through the threshold of her room, he felt himself nearly being in tears at the sight of her. She was the most beautiful person in the world to him.Â
âWhat do you think?â She asked looking at Harry with the same look that made his heart feel like it was turning into liquid mush inside him. Harryâs hand ran over his heart as he stepped to her. This dress was made for her, and only her.
âBeautiful, cherry.â The nickname slipped out of his mouth dripping in admiration. He had always called her cherry for the way the apples of her cheeks would shine bright red.Â
âI canât believe this. It feels surreal. Iâm so nervous, Harry. What if I trip or what if something goes wrong? There is so much that can go wrong. What if the caterer doesnât remember I requested another entree just for you?âÂ
âThen I wonât eat,â Harry answered trying to calm her anxious nerves. She was always like this.
âWhat if the rings get lost?â
âJust distract everyone, and Iâll run to the nearest stores and get some ring pops for you two.â Y/N laughed hitting him with her hand.Â
âYou can never be serious.â
âAnd you never stop worrying, cherry. Today is your day. We used to talk about this all the time together. You're finally getting your happy ending and youâre worrying about things that are out of your control.â Just as Y/N knew him, Harry knew her. This look on her face wasnât something of anxiousness, she looked unsure. Harry studied her face more, and after a moment she spoke up.Â
âYouâre right,â she said with a smile. âI just need to stop worrying.â
âI have a question for you though, isnât the bride supposed to be the only one wearing white? You trying to take my shine?â She asked teasingly, tugging on his white suit.
âI donât need to do that, my beautiful face does the work.â Y/N rolled her eyes stepping closer to him.Â
âOh really?â
âYou should know this already, you said before that you know me.â
âI do know you,â Y/N threw her arms surround his torso snuggling into his body. Harry didnât care if her makeup transferred, and ruined his outfit. He wrapped his arms around her tightening his grip on her.
Strangely in his mind them being in this position, she still felt like his. This made his mind go to a place where everything was more simple between the two. When they were just young teenagers. When they were each other little secret, each memory came flooding into his head. His love for her would always be there.
Now, it would just all be different. She would go on to start her own family. While he would go on, and settle with living with this gaping hole in his heart.
He was mourning her as she was in his arms. There is nothing in this life more painful than mourning someone who isnât dead. Itâs even worst when Harry had that realization he is mourning what could have been. He couldnât handle these emotions coming up inside of him as he breathed in her scent. Feelings of sadness, guilt, and regret.
Breaking away from her, Y/N looked confused because he never broke away first when they hugged.
âIâm going to go find my place, seats are probably filling up.â
âYeah, you should go do that.â She couldnât help but let a flash of hurt show on her face.Â
Harry turned on his foot and walked out of the room before he could let it show how this was hurting him. As soon he walked out of the suite, he stopped in the hallway trying to catch his breath. He felt as if was drowning.Â
âYouâre so in love with her, Harry. Why are you letting her go?â
He turned his head to the right noticing Y/Nâs sister had been watching them the entire time.Â
âI donât know what youâre talking about.â He said immediately, shooting up his defense walls not wanting to be called out on his own shit.Â
âIâm talking about you clearly being in love with my sister.â She said with a laugh moving closer.
âYou donât know what youâre talking about.â Harryâs voice raised, feeling as if he has to defend himself.Â
âOh, but I do, and if you let her get married today; youâre going to regret it for the rest of your life. Just giving you some sisterly advice, I am older than you both.â Harry looked at her sister bewildered.
He wasnât shocked at her being this bold, because she had honestly been the only one who truly knew they had more than they led on. She was also the one who teased them the most about looking like a couple more than best friends.
âSo, youâre telling me to ruin her wedding? She would never forgive me for that. Itâs selfish, and I canât do that to her no matter how in love I am with her. If I truly loved her I have to let her go.â There was no point in arguing or denying his love for her anymore, she could see right through him.
âThatâs the dumbest saying ever. If you truly loved her you wouldnât let her go. You wouldnât let her go when you know she is in love with you as well. Donât lie to me either, and say you havenât seen it. Sheâs been with this guy for two years, and Iâve yet to see the look she has in her eyes when sheâs with you.âÂ
âWhy did I wait so long?â He asked in a whisper.
âBecause you are both stubborn scary cats. You can only live your life for yourself. Donât care about the judgment of others, because at the end of the day, everyone on this planet will die. So, no matter how today goes just remember that.â The both of them laughed at her view of life.
âThatâs dark donât you think?â Harry said with a smile lingering on his lips.Â
âWhatever you do today, Harry is up to you. You control your fate. Take care, Harry.â With that said she walked back into the room leaving Harry in a vacant hallway with his thoughts.
âŚ
âIf everyone will please rise.â
The room stood together and directed their attention to the closed doors. On the cue of the music, the doors flew open revealing Y/N standing with her father.
Harry nearly felt himself lose balance once his sight was on her. This entire time of sitting out here heâs been having this whole internal battle with himself. Thoughts were whirling around his head.
This was just all wrong, he had never imagined it going like this. He always had this certainty that in his life some way somehow she was the end for him. Anytime he thought about love, it started and ended with her. When he thought about the future mother of his kids, it was her. Everything was her.
Harry was glad to have had an aisle seat so he could take her beauty all it. Harry stared right into her eyes expecting them to be faced forward, but instead, they were on him. The same unsure look behind her eyes contradicted the smile she kept on her lips. Her eyes didnât leave him until she passed. When she made it to the altar, and got given away everyone sat down. Harry tuned out the service as the voice of Y/Nâs sister floated in his head.Â
You control your fate.
It was as if a switch flipped off in his head, he had to try. No matter how it ended for him, he could never say that he didnât. For over ten years, he sat with the comfortability of having her as his best friend and that being good enough. This just isnât enough for him anymore. He wanted all of her. He thought that he would lose her if he tried to push for anymore other than what they were but wouldnât he lose her if he also didnât? He questioned if he would be able to truly stay around in her life knowing he was this in love with her. How could he be around her husband? It would be constant torture.Â
âShould anyone present know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace.â
A synchronized gasp filled the room causing Y/N to turn her head to see what the commotion was, and there he was. Harry was standing in the middle of the aisle looking directly at her.Â
âIâve loved you before I knew what love was. Youâre it for me, Iâve always been shit at my timing. Please, if Iâm wrong, go on with this and Iâll walk away forever. I canât let this go on without you knowing that Iâve loved you for forever.â Harry spoke out loud enough for everyone to hear. No matter how much the rest of the wedding guests were in shock at what they were watching, no one could deny that Harry was utterly in love with Y/N.Â
It was as if both of them were the only ones in the room. It was tunnel vision for her. Y/N turned back to face Rodger, her groom, who looked as if he would have burned Harry alive right where he stood.
Harry accepted defeat as she turned away from him.
âIâm so sorry, Rodger.â Y/N backed away from him as his hands shot out trying to grasp her. Kicking her heels off, she ran down the aisle taking Harryâs hand.Â
Hand in hand, they ran out together leaving all of her family and friends stunned. âYou really do have shit timing. Oh my God, H. Iâm a runaway bride.â Harry cackled out of a pure adrenaline rush as they ran through the parking lot.Â
As they approached his car, Harry ran to the passenger side of his classic Mercedes opening the door for her, before she climbed in she reached up grasped his face, and smashed her lips on his mouth. âI love you, I love you, I love you.â She said in between each kiss.
âI love you so much more, but we need to go, cherry.â Y/N climbed in the car, and Harry shut the door running over to his side. Harry barely waited for the car to start as he put it in reverse, peeling off through the parking lot just as the guest were rushing outside. Y/N watched in the side view mirror for a moment, and then looked away.Â
âWeâre going to have a hell of a story to tell our kids one day,â Harry turned to look at her while her eyes were already on him.
âWe are not telling our kids this, theyâre going to tease us forever.â Harry gripped her hand in his, and kissed it multiple times repeatedly filled with much joy.
âWhatever you fucking say, you're mine forever thatâs all that matters to me.â Y/N smiled proudly hearing the words she had always wanted to hear from him.
âAnd your mine, why did we wait so long, Harry?â She asked still smiling at him.Â
âI asked your sister the same question.â Y/N looked over at him confused.Â
âMy sisterâŚwhat?â
âIâll explain later, I promise.â Y/N shook her head thinking of what her outspoken sister could have told him.
Harry turned on the freeway just heading away as far away from the venue, not necessarily having a destination in mind. âWhere are we going, Harry? Iâm in this huge wedding dress. Where are we going to live? How are we going to explain this to your mom?â
âThatâs my girl. My anxious girl. There are no more worries. Iâm yours forever, okay. No more worries.â He said to her reassuringly.
âMy mom? She will be more than ecstatic, probably happier than us. Where are we going to live? We will figure that out. As far as your wedding dress, it would be a shame to let it go to waste wouldnât it?â
âWhat are you saying, H.â She looked at him knowing her had some wild idea in his head.
âMy sweet girl, Iâm saying that Vegas is four hours away. I want forever with only you. Do you want it with me?â
âIs that your lousy way of proposing to me?â Y/N teased him.
âIâll think of a better proposal within four hours, I promise.â
âThe rings?â
âRing pops until I get you the proper ring.âÂ
âYouâve always got everything figured out,â Y/N said leaping across the console, and pressing a kiss to his cheek.Â
âIâm the optimist and youâre the pessimistâŚthe perfect mix donât you think?â Harry asked teasingly.Â
âMore than perfect. Everything Iâve always dreamed of.âÂ

Hello Neighbor: Kept Secrets
By JJ
Summary: With Nicky missing, and no one around to help, it's up to Trinity and the rescue squad to investigate the neighbor and save their friend.
Chapter 3
I went home late that day. When I walked through the door, my mom was already waiting at the door with a displeased look on her face.
"Trinity, where have you been?", she asked. "You could've at least given one of us a call to let us know you'd be home late."
I didn't answer. I just stared at the floor. My mom walked closer to me and tilted my head up to meet her stern gaze. "Trinity, answer me.", she said.
And out of nowhere, I felt my eyes fill to the brim with tears. Soon, the tears were falling down my face, and I could feel it ruining my mascara. Mom's face went from stern to worried.
She guided me to the living room, and sat me down, her hands on my shoulders. I took a deep breath and told her everything.
"I wanted to see Nicky today, but when I went to his house, I found out he went missing last night.", I whimpered. "The police think he ran away, but no one's satisfied with that. Everyone else on Friendly Court thinks there's a kidnapper on the loose."
I broke down crying again, and my mom pulled me in for a big hug, rubbing my back.
The next day was the weekend, so that meant I had a lot of free time to help look for Nicky. I recently learned that Mr. Esposito had rallied a couple of employees, they were all searching the entire town of Raven Brooks.
Still no luck, and Mr. and Mrs. Roth were starting to go insane. Everyday, they'd go out in the middle of the town, screaming out Nicky's name, as if they were expecting him to just come back like that.
Mr. Esposito pulled me and his friends to his office one day, "You kids can set up the missing posters.", he said, holding a large stack of paper.
We all agreed, despite it being completely hopeless. Almost everyone in Raven Brooks was trying to find Nicky, so what's the point in putting up posters?
I emptied out my purse full of makeup, and filled it with missing posters. Then I walked all around the street of Friendly Court, putting up missing posters on every streetlight and tree I could find.
After the weekend, the immediate thing I did after school was put up more missing posters. I didn't see what good they were doing, it wasn't going to make Nicky come back. But I guess it was better than just standing around doing nothing.
I walked by Mr. Peterson's house, and I nearly jumped out of my skin when I heard a scream come from behind the fence that was too long for my liking.
I dropped my purse, and turned towards the fence. I stood still, thinking the scream was going to come again. It didn't come again.
I nearly had a half mind of knocking on the fence to see what was going on.
Because Mr. Peterson was the only one who wasn't helping around with finding Nicky. He barely left his house, so I doubted he even knew that he was missing.
"Maybe he'd know that if he left his damn house every once in a while.", I thought. I didn't even shake myself free of that thought, because I knew I was right.
I stormed to the fence door, and I was about to knock, but then I heard muffled screaming and grunting coming from the back.
I ran to the backyard, and I peeked through a hole in the fence. What I saw shook me to my core.
"Stop squirming! Nicky, would you please calm the hell down?!"
Mr. Peterson was holding Nicky in a tight grasp, covering his mouth to muffle his screams.
But Nicky didn't calm down. He kept struggling, scratching at Mr. Peterson's arm, but the older man didn't budge. It didn't matter how much Nicky struggled to get out of the man's grasp, Mr. Peterson was bigger and stronger than him.
Mr. Peterson pulled a syringe out of his back pocket, uncapping it with his teeth and holding it to Nicky's neck.
"I warned you, Nicholas.", he growled. And without warning, he stabbed the needle into my friend's neck, and Nicky stopped struggling and fell limp.
I gasped, completely forgetting that Mr. Peterson couldn't hear or see me. He turned his head to the hole from where I was peeking through, and I ran away down the street, grabbing my purse from off the ground.
I started running to the Esposito house to tell Enzo and Maritza what I saw.
To tell them that our friend didn't run away...
He was taken.

Yes, this is untitled too..(Your Mouth Is Too Sweet or Can I Quench Your Thirst??)
Why can't I find titles for this kind of one-shot short stuff?? But it doesn't matter, I guess.
Jade x GN reader. Fluff, kiss and others. Platonic Jade
These types of posts are sloppy compared to my other posts, both in terms of writing style and other things. Such posts are discarded in the days before a big/long post. So here comes a long post(s).
Eng is not my own language
Recently, Epel complimented you on a dessert they tried at the Mostro Lounge. Maybe it's the way you describe it, you're craving something you've never eaten before. You somehow found time for yourself and went to the Mostro Lounge to try that dessert. Even though it seems crowded, you found an empty place. You looked around until someone to take care of you came. You found a place in the corner. It was in a position where you could see everyone and everything clearly. Although the atmosphere is dark, the lights create a unique ambiance. You didn't notice that Jade had come near you as you looked around.
Good day [reader]-san. How nice to see you in the Mostro Lounge.
Oh Jade! Good day to you too.
Shall I bring the menu or is there something special you want already?
Yes, can I have (name of dessert) please.
Fufufu, of course. I'll bring it right now.
You keep people watching after Jade leaves. Azul was nowhere to be seen. Most likely, he was getting someone to sign a deal in the VIP room. Floyd was making presentations to a table in the middle, accompanied by small shows. It's nice to be able to see them from your angle. A short time later, Jade arrived with the dessert.
Here's your dessert [reader]-san. I hope you enjoy the dessert.
After thanking him, he walked away with his usual smile.
/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\
The dessert was just as good as Epel praised it. With each bite, the fruit sauce in the dough exploded in his mouth. The portion was a little big for one person but the price was very reasonable. This is a good thing. You didn't want any drink with your dessert. Considering the portion of the dessert, it was quite normal to be thirsty. While looking for someone to ask for water, you saw Jade looking in your direction. It was a little far away and you were hesitant to call out because it was getting crowded. That's why you gave him a 'come' sign to come over to you. Even if you couldn't see it, his grin grew.
Is there a problem [reader]-san. Dessert you don't like it?
No no. Dessert was really good. It deserves a nice compliment. I just wanted water.
I understand Coming soon [reader]-san.
Before he left, he collected the plate of the finished dessert and other dishes on your table and left. A short time later he came back with a glass of water in his hand. He put the glass right in front of you. Just as you was about to thank him and take the glass, he stopped you and grabbed your chin with one hand, making you look at him. Before you could say anything, he pressed his lips to yours. He took advantage of your unresponsiveness from the sudden shock you were going through, making you open your mouth. You felt some liquid enter your mouth along with his tongue, water. You reflexively swallowed the water, but his tongue was still in your mouth. Leaning you further into your seat, he deepened the kiss and established dominance. He was really good at this. After a while he broke away from the kiss and a trace of saliva was left between you, connecting you to each other. He had a sinister grin on his face. Using his thumb on your lips, he wiped the saliva from your mouth.
Fufufu If your thirst is not quenched, do not hesitate to call me. I'll bring you water again.
As he left, your face in a mess as red as the roses in Heartslabyul. I hope they don't charge extra for this service :)
ââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââââ
I feel awkward writing this in the middle of a 34-person class..
Aghhh, I'm dealing with 17 drafts and two requests at the same time. And everything came together. But soon I'll get my layout (the layout that never existed) in place đŞ
And if we think about the Leona x reader thing I wrote before; I have no problem with sweets, no.

Prompt 20: Hamper
Being the part-time therapist, according to Esredes, meant that you were the one destined to be alone. It was an occupation that barely existed, and you were the healer to everyone else. Someone had to be the one to simply absorb the pain and deal with it, and he was used to it already.
But one session that went particularly bad broke Esredes just a little. He was so incredibly frustrated that something in him twisted all out of place. And he found himself looking onto an old recommendation from a friend. He still didn't believe it was possible for the therapist to be helped, but what did he have to lose? So against all odds, the man tried to put himself in the other seat for once. At first it was just nice to talk about how everything felt, but it didn't take many meetings for the other person to tell him his core problem could never be fixed, and he would always have to choose between being well-liked and sincerity.
Well, he knew that already, and he knew the choice he'd make. So Esredes slipped the mask back on and left. He knew this was a truth, but now he didn't have to waste time figuring out if somehow he missed an answer like people kept insisting for him. They were just hopelessly idealistic, and he already knew exactly how the world worked. No more wasting time on things only meant for real people.
Some time later, Esredes was in the Firmament, when a white-horned Au Ra woman with a foreign accent approached him and started talking to him. That certainly wasn't a combination Esredes saw much of, but she was very nice and sweet, gentle and soft. And she said something about how it felt like something was on Esredes' mind, and she would be happy to listen if he needed to talk. A part of Esredes couldn't help but feel like it might be some kind of trap? But he did go to see her in an inn room in the Forgottten Knight, and everything was normal.
It wasn't until the middle of the conversation Esredes learned she also considered herself a therapist. Oh dear, had he just gone into therapy again, on accident? But he didn't care. Her advice was actually very good, and for the first time in a while, Esredes felt truly heard. He talked about the ongoing situation with his former squire coming back into his life recently but hating him, and she told him to bring him to a place of shared memories, to which in doing so the two were able to, albeit messily, sort out the problem and realize they were family. Outside of those discussions, Esredes slowly learned about Fuyu, as was her name, and they became friends. They went to the large and comprehensive aquarium in the Shroud and looked at fish for hours, he found her crying once and comforted and calmed her down, he encouraged her gently to stop picking at her scales as a bad habit, and albeit she was a wanderer, she said she'd stay in Ishgard for him. Fuyu really felt like a gentle and understanding friend, far beyond that he could usually imagine.
And then one day, she was kidnapped. It was out of nowhere, she went missing. Him and the rest of the people who hung around her quickly assembled to find her and bring her home, and it was a major relief they were able to. Esredes watched from a distance as she shut herself in her room after that, too afraid to go outside, and his heart sunk. A friend of his was hurting badly, and he knew it was his fault. The universe always punished him for getting too comfortable, or trying to have things go too well. She had been kidnapped because he sought out her help, he knew this in his bones. And he felt horrible for it.
It was then and there Esredes put a stop to his therapeutic pursuits. If he went back to her, she'd die next time. And he couldn't bear to kill her, or any other therapist, with his selfish desires. He had his place, he had his box, and he would not dare try to crawl out of it again.
He only wished he realized this earlier, before the damage has been done for his selfishness. Never again would he be that horribly selfish, he pledged to himself. Never again.

since you started to work on the mirror essenceâs skins, is it alright if I asked about some of the lore?
To be honest, the lore is kinda big and all over the place, and it's not finished yet, but I'll do my best to explain part of it, and what better way to start with the lore than with Laurence? I mean, he's the first skin I've posted, and he's also one of the characters I think about the most and have the most lore about of all. No worries, it won't be that confusing because Lau was present even before the mirror world existed.
Anyway here we go!! The following is the backstory of both Phineas, Laurence and Flynn but only at the beginning and not all of it and is a bit long and maybe OOC but bear with me!!
(TW:- death, grief and depression)
Laurence and Phineas were best buds in a small town back in the 1920s or 1960s. They had this one stupid habit since they were kids: sneaking out at night even though their families warned them it was dangerous, especially going to the nearby forest, which was like a death trap! They were fearless and somehow nothing bad ever happened to them, but that didn't apply to everyone else.
One day, Flynn caught his brother sneaking out and decided to secretly follow him to the forest. But damn, that place was so big and dark that he lost Phineas, who had already met up with Laurence. They were fooling around like always. Meanwhile, poor Flynn was lost deep in the scary forest, all alone and terrified, screaming for his brother for help, but no one heard him. Well, almost no one. It seems his cries caught the attention of some wild wolves, and that definitely wasn't a good thing.
Phineas and Laurence were hanging out under their favorite big willow tree in the middle of the forest. They were so far away from the town by this point. Suddenly, they finally heard Flynn's screams, and they were filled with terror. Fear covered both of their faces as they jumped up and raced to save Flynn, wherever he was and whatever danger he was in. But then, the screaming stopped, making Phineas even more terrified.
They finally found Flynn, being attacked by wild wolves! They grabbed anything they could find to scare the wolves away. After a long and painful fight, they managed to chase them off. But it was too late. Flynn was on the verge of death, blood everywhere from his ripped-off arm. Phineas picked him up, trying to run back to the town for help, but they were so far away that Flynn died in Phineas' arms, nowhere near any the town nor any help.
Laurence could only stand there, in shock, as Phineas cried and begged God not to take away his brother. It only got worse from there. Phineas fell into deep stage of grief and depression. He isolated himself, hating the world outside and blaming himself for Flynn's death. Years went by, and he never got better. All Laurence could do was be there, comforting him, but it broke his heart to see his once lively and cheerful friend turn into a shell of his former self.
Then one day, Phineas went missing, like he vanished into thin air. Rumors started flying around, each one worse than the next. Laurence couldn't stand hearing those awful rumours anymore, so he decided to find Phineas or at least some clue about what may had happened to him. The first place he thought of was the forest where Flynn died. He searched for hours, reaching the deepest parts and the willow tree where they used to hang out. Everything seemed normal and he was about to give up⌠until he stumbled upon a mirror embedded in the ground. Oddly enough, he saw no reflection in the mirror, even his own.
While staring at the reflection-less mirror, Laurence thought he saw Phineas for a split second and turned around, thinking his friend was behind him. But he wasn't. Only an unclear image of Phineas was in the mirror, confusing Laurence even more. He leaned in to get a closer look but ended up falling into the mirror like a rabbit hole!
...That was the day Laurence disappeared, never to be seen again. It was also the day that marked the first victim of The Mirror's World.
I would had talked more about the lore but I feel this is enough for now :)!!

gonna put this under a readmore so people don't have to scroll for years cause i have too many đ but thank you for asking @siyratiin!
Originally it was just a regular mechanical keyboard, but in a battle of the bots, a botâs shard was injured. The energon from this shard came into contact with the keyboard, and a new bot was created in an instant. Terrified by the battle of giants raging all around it, it ran off immediately to hide. It was found two days later by the human itâs lived with since, who named it Button.
Chromeblaze is a very reserved bot. She escaped Cybertron just to land on Earth among the beginning of WWII, so she didn't have a very favourable view of humans and hid among an Energon-rich mountain range with her twins until they were found by other Autobots who convinced her to give Earth a second chance. She's a 1936 MG TA Midget (pic is a black car but she's dark turquoise).
The twins' names, by the way, are Neutrobolt (red) and Nitroblitz (blue). Chromeblaze was their batch initiator! Their spark split in half during the sparking process, creating twins from the only protoforms who weren't destroyed in a Decepticon raid. They chose their alt forms after already being on Earth for a while, and settled on the 1959 MG MGA 1500. Their alt forms are from the product line that replaced Chromeblaze's alt form, which they see as a familial line.
Demoiselle was sparked into the Decepticon faction, but didn't really care for it. Eventually zi ran away, scanned a different alt form to hide better, broke down, and got restored by a ranger who thought she was just fixing up a normal old vehicle. Since zi loves birds, zi's actually quite delighted to be living on a bird sanctuary in the middle of nowhere. Zir alt form is a side-by-side, or UTV, speifically the 1990 Land Pride Runabout UTV. (Unlike the picture, zi's grey with a purple stripe up the side. Turns out vehicle manufacturers did not account for me when planning their stock paint options.)
Technically Goldshot has two alt forms! Because she had one before she went to Jurassic Park. To get on the island, she became one of the gas Jeeps, #13 to be exact. When the park went offline during the hurricane, she went to the nursery in the visitors' center to check if the babies were all right. The rest of the raptor eggs hatched while she was there and imprinted on her. She was delighted! And Optimus was very tired when he came to pick her up and she wouldn't leave any of her raptors (or that month-old dilo) behind. She looks exactly like the canon vehicles, just with a different number.
Nightflash was sparked just after the war on Cybertron began and is kinda fucked up from being a child soldier feyr entire life (not that fey'd ever admit it). Fey has a lighted spoiler and rims and running boards, a roll cage around feyr front seats, heavily tinted windows, and whitewall tires. The lights can switch between white, black, green, and RGB. Feyr car mode, a 1984 Fiero 2M4, was entirely influenced by this post. I can't find a pic of a green one like fey is so have this one:
Stormbrake crash-landed on Earth hard enough to result in a forced shutdown of his systems. He came back online 35 years later in the hands of the Decepticons, who convinced him that they were all on the same side, peacekeepers, and the Autobots were actually trying to kill everyone. Eventually Stormbrake started questioning things so they sent him to kill the 'rebel leader', aka Optimus, assuming he'd die in the attempt. Instead the Autobots managed to un-brainwash him and now he's dating the bot he was sent to kill. His alt form used to be a grey 1985 Ford Escort and is now an orange and robin's egg blue Caterpillar D6T XL Crawler Dozer. He scanned a brightly-painted art installation rather than a normal dozer bc it made him feel pretty <3
And finally, I have Voltcast! Who technically does not have an alt form because he's a dinobot, but I love him anyway. He's based on a Utahraptor. He has two-foot-long feathers at the end of his tail and along his arms from wrist to shoulder. Each is independently attached, and can be electrified and used as projectile weapons. He was alone for two hundred years after being the sole survivor of an Autobot-Decepticon fight, and with so much alone time to think, decided all that faction shit is stupid. Heâs avoided interacting with any bots heâs seen since, and has been having a great time on his own in the woods, occasionally scaring the shit out of random hikers.
I've gotta get weirder about my Transformers OCs, ask me something about em and I'll come ask about yours!
#i don't know how i ended up with nine transformers OCs but that's just where i am in my life i guess#button#chromeblaze#neutrobolt#nitroblitz#demoiselle#goldshot#nightflash#stormbrake#voltcast
